Easy to install. Works great
I love when a product is as advertised. This Maglock does exactly what it says. It is easy to install and has a nice strong hold. I’ve been using this particular lock in a commercial environment for well over a year and it is working flawlessly. Would recommend.

Good magnet / bad plate
I have had this magnet since February and have had to replace the guide pins on the plate 3 times and finally wound up tack welding them to the plate to keep them from falling out. When the pins are in and working, the magnet is great. I just wish the guides were milled into the plate instead of roll pins.

Terrible maglock
Even with the lock plate right up against the magnet I can pull the plate off by hand with very little effort. Terrible magnetic lock of 1200 lbs when it only takes maybe 4 to get it to release.
