This fabric exceeded my expectations. It is very soft and flexible, so that there is no creasing of the pattern. Very easy to cut and fold, even with the thick fiber backing that is on it. The color is black and an eggshell white, very beautiful. It is versatile, can be used in so many ways and I definitely recommend.

Looks great, easy to clean, durable, there is a texture, fleece or flocked backing, great value for money. I redid the chair bottoms myself, and it was very easy to use. It’s not too thick or stiff and a good amount of stretch.

I purchased this to use as a tablecloth, and it is a real showstopper! The fabric drapes beautifully over the table without any folds or creases. I ordered 3 yards to fit my 95" table and took it right out of the package and put it straight on my table for a perfect fit. It gets constant use and is very easy to clean - and it looks as beautiful today as it did when I purchased it.

I was worried about the metallic gold accent on the vinyl. I was concerned that in person it would be “tacky” and make the finished piece look cheap. However, the finished product was exactly what I was hoping to achieve. The texture is flawless for setting use. I despise fake leather, but I needed something more forgiving, because these stools will be tucked under a table at our lake house (lot of wet bathing suits and pups jumping on them)! The feel of this vinyl isn’t sticky, like you’d get on cheap diner seats. It’s thinner, and more flexible, so there is a bit of stretch as I pulled it around the sides and corners. That give allowed me to staple it with a nice, tight finished product, which is far better than I expected! Back to the “feel”. It’s more like real leather. Not sticky, and more matte, so less likely to make your bare legs stick to the seat (maybe this only happens in the south/ Texas in the summer, but trust me, it’s gross and a pet peeve of mine). Initially, I was only going to get this for this little table. However, I am so pleased with the vinyl overall, that I am going to order it in another color for the bar stools in the kitchen! Very happy with this purchase.

Pattern size is 12in long by 5 5/8" wide repeated. Not to scale with actual hides. Still a quality, fun, and easy vinyl to work with. This material is thin enough for easy manipulation and is strong and thick enough to be durable. The photos made the black and white Gator pattern look like cream and black. Let me set the record straight..... The black and white is indeed as described. I had hoped it was more of a cream than white. While this color did not work for my project, I hand this over to my niece. Last night while digesting our Thanksgiving feast we used this faux gator leather to cover a few of her school books. She was absolutely thrilled with the results. And we had fun a lot of fun together. I'll definitely be back to buy more for other small projects. This pattern with its repeat size does not lend itself to large scale projects aiming for an authentic Gator hide substitute. This is more for small crafts, cushions, and such. I'm still searching for the correct size pattern for my cabinet make over.

It looks nothing like the product photo!!! The second picture is how it's supposed to look, that'sfrom a diffrent vendor! The first picture is how this vendor fabric look! It's trash!! You can tell the difference.
