Very Good engine and after sales service
Order came very quickly. I was a bit dubious about the quality of the product because of cheap price but i was not disappointed. Very good build quality on the engine and very powerful . Can easily pull many carriages over bridges on the Brio tracks. Very good battery life and easy to change batteries.Unfortunately engines stopped working after a month, i contacted the supplier and they supplied me with a replacement straight away without any hassle, which is working really well . grandson loves the engine, will be ordering more of these engines in future

High quality, durable train.
My 5 year old son chose to buy this battery operated train with his birthday money. He was not disappointed.Lovely finish, great weight. Runs on flat surface and on wooden track. Strong enough to push another train around the track.Lovely quality as always Bigjigs.

Only needs one battery
Slow but steady engine, can pull a load of carriages even over bridge, but not so keen on reverse

Spot on
The media could not be loaded. I really like this diesel shunter, powered by one +AAA battery. One operated button for forward, stop and backwards. Easy to use and to play.A but expensive for just one piece compared with other brands much cheaper. Thanks

Cheap rubbish and dangerous for children
Sooooo, this train is made of light plastic. The toy carriages it is meant to pull are wood, aka heavy in comparison, aka the trains wheels spin and the carriages stay put. The magnet also came out while my son was playing with the train which he would absolutely have swallowed and probably choked on. All in all, a terrible product which I recommend you avoid. Go to Ikea and get a cheaper van looking train which is more robust and does the job perfectly!

Slow & medium power
The train is quite slow around the track and can pull along 3-4 carriages. The reverse speed works well but due to the design of the track the carriages do not want to go uphill in reverse. I think this item needs a bit more power. If there was 2 or 3 of these on the track at the same time, this would be fun, but at £15 per train this would be too expensive.
