Renovated toilet
Arrived on time, well packed. I bought two of these and am very happy with them. They look and feel good so I am sure they will fit well into our renovated downstairs toilet. Our new units there have square chrome handles so tis fits in perfectly. Haven't used them yet as we are just fitting the units but I am sure they will be OK. Needed there because we tend to brush our teeth after breakfast before going out, so no need to go upstairs.

looks good
It fits well with my other bathroom chrome fittings. Not cheap looking at all, very sturdy and expensive looking. I would have given it 5 stars but the glass isn't as frosty looking as the one in the picture, which I would have preferred. But overall, I would still recommend it.

Nice but ......
I ordered two of these but unfortunately the polished chrome on one was incomplete. The other one however was lovely, a very sturdy item.

follow the instructions - it works on tiles
I read the instructions followed them to the letter. Stuck it to the tiled wall and its worked. 3 weeks on still nice and firmly stuck to the wall.

Excellent Toothbrush Holder
Heavy chromed metal, clever wall mounting system, easy to put up, very good even for my limited abilities with a drill and rawlplugs! Highly recommend, look smart and suit my chrome bathroom.

A Touch of Glass
For this review, I was hoping to upload some photos of not only the product itself, but how I managed to fix it my bathroom wall. Unfortunately, this option no longer seems to be available, so I'll just have to write a more literal review. The goods arrived in good time and well packaged in a square cardboard box filled with bubble-wrap, and then sealed in a jiffy bag.Once opened you should find a frosted glass cup and the chrome-plated wall-mounted holder, along with a two rawl-plugs & screws. Both the holder & cup were in perfect condition. The only drawback is that there are no instructions to help you install it.In my case I wanted to fix my holder to a tiled wall, and therefore I used the following:-a hammer,a 6mm masonry drill-bit,some black insulation tape, or masking tap,a small flathead screwdriver & posi-screwdriver;and a spirit level.*** It is also very important that you use a pipe & electrical live-wire detector before drilling holes in your wall! ***.Another thing to note is the kind of tile you have: most tiles are completely smooth, but mine has a a very fine "wave" over the surface. This means when you hold the mount plate against the tile it may not be completely flush. Therefore you may have to use sealant to prevent the mount from rocking. There are many ways of drilling holes through ceramic tile. In my case I put a couple of strips of insulation tape on the tile, and measured the two holes using the mount plate as a template. Before drilling I used a hammer to gently tap against the 6mm masonry drill bit for each mark; this is to gradually chip away the thin glazed layer.Once you've made the indentations, it should be safe enough to use a power drill and complete the two holes (use the same 6mm drillbit, and set the drill at a relatively low speed. Don't add too much pressure otherwise you run the risk of cracking the tile)With the holes drilled, just tap in the rawl plugs, locate the holding plate against the tile and fix the two screws home with a posi screwdriver. The square at the back of the holder then slips onto the plate, and is fixed by a grub screw using a flathead screwdriver. You can then use a spirit level to make sure it is true. And then just add the cup and job done!In all it took me about 25 minutes from start to finish, and I'm very happy with the end result. I can't commend on the longevity of this product; for all I know it may start to fade or begin flaking after a few months in a damp environment. But for now it certainly adds a touch of class to my bathroom.I would have given this 5 stars, but the lack of instructions is unforgivable.
