December Diamonds Anchors Aweigh Merman Ornament

The price feels like a splurge but when you unbox this guy you are in for a fun treat. Hat’s off to the designer and whoever hand-painted this.

I have all the December Diamonds Mermen collection. They are beautifully designed but much TOO heavy to hang on a tree. I hang them from a louvered closet door. The more you have the better they look for the holidays hanging there as a conversation piece. Be Ware! If you drop them they break in pieces and it's almost impossible to glue them back because they splinter a lot!

The ornament is FANTASTIC!!! But come on guys...I know that you are probably a small business but you need to box your product. I ordered 2 items and I received them in their original boxes with the mailing labels pasted over the picture of the Sailor! when I took the label off the Sailor was torn! How can a collector save and present in torn up boxes!?!?! You charge enough to at least box your product nicely. These were for a gift for a Birthday gift for my son who is in the Coast Guard.....Not a good presentation to say the least.

This was a gift for a sailor buddy. He absolutely loved it!!

I named him “Lance” after my friend in the Marines (I’m Navy). He hates it. I love it. He’s a lot bigger than I was expecting, but it works on the little tiny Christmas tree my mom puts in my old childhood bedroom for when I come home for the holidays. She hates the ornament too, but she humors me. Lol
