The media could not be loaded. Just the right size for basting in a pan or applying wash to pastry. As shown in my video the bristles are extremely soft so won't damage pastry.They could also be useful in cake making decoration as they are soft enough not to damage delicate decorations.I am terrible for accidentally melting traditional hair or nylon type ones, hopefully these being silicon will take some heat and not absorb things like egg so will be easy to clean.4 Stars at the moment as currently the item is not available to order so the price is not available to evaluate and I only give a 5th star for my final criteria of good value. This probably will be.

These are great and nicely big, makes basting a doddle. Flexible brushes and good rigid handle. Not much more you can say about a pastry brush but I'd get these ones again.

Great equipment

At first I wasn’t sure if they were good quality but I used them last night basting a cake with drizzle and they were fab! I love how I have 4 of different colours so I know what I can use for what. I.e garlic basting red one, citrus drizzle yellow and so on. Highly recommend
