So much better than the horrible "cone of shame"!
Super easy to put on and take off. Can leave on during messy meals by simply flipping the "flower petal" down like a cape. Much more comfortable for sleeping than a hard plastic cone as it will bend and flatten a little so your pet can assume a more natural head position. Easy to keep clean by wiping down or throwing in the washing machine on gentle cycle and leaving to air dry. (Only diminished a tiny bit of the stiffness using the machine method.)You just have to make sure the radius (= half the width of the entire circle) of the collar is at least slightly longer than your pet's muzzle so they can't lick beyond the perimeter. Very happy I opted to replace the cone with this. (And I'm pretty sure so was kitty!)

Good cat cone
I got this cone because the vet gave me one that seemed really uncomfortable and heavy for my cat. This one fit a lot better and didn't seem to press on her whiskers. Overall it is a good cone, any cone is going to be uncomfortable but she seemed to manage with it fine. The cone did a great job of preventing her from licking at her injury, which was near her butt. I was worried it wouldn't be long enough and she would be able to get around it, but she only ended up licking the side of the cone no matter what she tried.I will say the one downside of this cone is that when I opened it up it smelled really strongly of chemicals which was gross. I just washed it with soap and water and let it hang dry for a bit and it was fine afterwards.

Cat didn't seem to mind it
I got this to use on my rescue kitty who had some bad bites on his rear end from being outside. It didn't quite stop him from licking them, but it did keep him mostly off them. It was easy to put on him and I washed it by hand with a toothbrush and it cleaned up nicely. Best of all he didn't seem to mind it. It didn't interfere with his sleeping or playing or eating and it wasn't so heavy that it got him off balance. It wasn't really stretchy, but it was adjustable to some extent.

Tolerated by fussy cat
My cat had emergency surgery in the middle of the night. The hospital gave him a cone for a small puppy. Long snout hard plastic. He hated it. Couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, couldn't get comfortable. Found this cone the next day. It was soft and shorter. He was able to eat and sleep with it on until his cut healed. As a bonus, it looked super cute on him too. Definitely recommend.

It was good for the first week
I really liked this cone, and my cat was happy too. After a week of using it, the sturdiness of the cone was getting soft and my cat found a way to manipulate the cone, my cat is so smart, but this time was so dummy because he was able to scratched his face and a wound that was healing, got open again. I had to purchased a plastic cone, my cat is very uncomfortable with the plastic one but he’s not able to scratch his face again.
