Well made and accurate depiction of Puffer

This little model is almost faithful to the original, a beauty. For the purist the builder might have taken more care with the bridge and wheelhouse.I find little fault with the item, one would be that the mast is too fat, the other was that the rudder was hanging off, but these minor faults can easily be remedied. All in all a lovely item.

This model arrived with the skeg broken and the rudder lying separately in the paper in the box. It had been lightly packed in rough brown paper so that in transit it had rattled around in its box and obviously became damaged. I hope it was not like this when it was sent. The screw holding the propeller was only half screwed in and looked ridiculous.The wheelhouse was glued in place squint, off square, I note that this has been previously reported in your feedback.Apart from these problems, which I have now fixed, it is a charming little model, but it was obviously put together by a hamfisted individual!

I would not recommend this to anyone. It is poorly made, 'chunky', and, while the detail is there, it bears no resemblance to a miniature model, only as an ornament to add colour at the top of a bookcase - far out of sight.I can forgive a bit of amateurishness, but this thing seems to have been shoved together with sheer CARELESNESS, It is very badly made. Looks like the doings of a rehab woodwork class.Not even going to ask for my money back, going to dump it in the charity shop.

Well finished, good detail. Was slightly dissapointed with size but this was stated in advert at time of purchase and should have paid attention! But for the money is a nice addition to my wee colection.

I thought it was fairly well made and a nice piece of Scottish history
