No odor, everything in the kit, easy to apply
I moved into an apartment and after taking a shower a few times we were covered in paint chips! So I asked my landlord if I could redo my tub the right way! I love doing DIY and I want my home cozy so I know if I do it, it'll look right! I ordered this paint kit and so far I've only applied one layer and I'm letting it dry naturally for 2 hours before I begin the second coat but OMG this was so easy, not messy, everything you need including tape, plastic drop, sanding paper, and brushes were all included!!! My tub is looking amazing already! I'm so excited to see the finished results!!! There's no odor or fumes to make you choke or cause a headache! I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend if your looking to upgrade your tub without the cost of a professional or new one!!! I'll update my pictures as I finish applying the paint. It will probably take 3-4 coats to look the way I want but so worth the money!!! OMG!!! I'm so in love with my tub!!! It took a total of 4 coats to get the desired look but I'm in love. It was so worth the time

Use a Hair Dryer!
Good concept! If you live in the cold Northeast, as I do, it's too cold to dry at 68 degrees in my house. I let dry for two hours and it beaded. Started over and washed off what I could. Reapplied and blow dried for 20 minutes. Worked like a charm. Reapplied three coats every hour. The white is stark...Refrigerator white. My sink is maybe an off-white. It looks better than before because my sink was black due to hard water. I still think it looks ridiculous. Looks like I painted it with ceiling paint. Finish came out ok sanding (polishing) in between coats. Still feels semi-rough. Avoid paint brush, if you can. Roller works great. In conclusion, I need a new sink!

Thought it was fine at first but found out quickly it sucks.
The paint is thick to where even the thinnest of layers is quickly gummed up by simple brushing. It took 6 coats, yes SIX, to get it to stop looking like trash and even then it was still very patchy. I had to use brushes b3vause the thickness of the paint just slopped it around if you used rollers and created peaks and points. The only thing in the kit that was even useful was the plastic cover with painters tap on one end. That actually came in handy. I let this paint sit untouched for 2 weeks and never used my tub, nothing. And the pic on this review is what simply running my hand across the surface did: created a HUGE hole where it all just started peeling. It's not doing that on flat spots, so I guess the paint simply cannot handle curves. This is by far the worst looking tub paint I think I've ever seen. And the kicker is that once you mix the paint, you have to toss it after 12 hours so you can't keep any around for touch ups. So if I want to fix this, I have to buy an entirely new kit which is just ludicrous for a tub that water hasn't actually seen yet and an additional week was given to cure. Shameful scam product. Save your money on a better brand or a professional.

Easy New Finish to Shower Pan!
So far so good! Everything needed to do project was included. My shower pan is textured and this gave great coverage. I have a few drip marks but not noticeable on pan. I was ready for the fumes but there were none. Going to let it cure the whole week before using but it looks brand new!

Ridiculously difficult to use, but came out excellent
I read other reviews for different products and saw people mentioning how easy it was to put on and that it covered very well. Unfortunately, all of those products would have taken a week or more to get in the mail. I chose this product because it had good reviews and because I could get it the next day. Well, the directions are difficult to understand in the form of broken English that they are in. It is really not specific on what it wants you to do or how it wants you to prep. However, common Sense would make you prep it as you can see in my picture. The problem wasn't so much the prep. I used a razor blade and comet and then I sanded it. It was definitely ready to go. I poured the emulsifier hardener into the paint and stirred it for the amount of time it told me to. It's a nice thick paint and it seemed like it would work really well. I used the foam roller and the brush that was sent with the product. The brush is okay but the paint is thin enough that you just see brush marks on the tub. You have to go over it with the paint roller. The problem with the roller is that it globs all over the sides and then makes lines on the tub. If you don't see those lines immediately, they begin to dry and they either stain your tub, or if you try to fix them, they come off and make streaks. I had to put three coats on and honestly I would say about 85% I messed it up. It looks horrible. I think if I were to do it again, I would buy a different paint roller to use with this product, one that doesn't drip all over the place. I would never buy this product again. I may have to hire someone to fix it now. And no, it's not user error. I paint all the time. The problem lies within the makeup of the paint and the applications that were sent along with the paint, mainly being that the roller drips all over the place at the corners and creates those streaks that are very difficult to fix. Edit: I originally gave this fewer Stars but after the third coat, this tub is actually looking pretty darn good! Just make sure to watch your streaks and drips!!!!
