Worked great when it did, BEWARE of warranty
Purchased in Oct 2023. Noticed this summer that our AC was running a bit more and found out the fan had quit working. Turns out their "one year warranty" only covers full replacement for 90 days and in months 4-12 they charge for parts + shipping.

Good product bad instruction
Pricewise, this is the best deal for a solar-attic fan. It is well-constructed, angle-adjustable.The instruction is very poor - when install on roof, says you need normal roofing nails to secure it but the big screws in parts bag are for securing it on roof. Then it mentions to use parts in the bag to change the angle/orientation. But it should mention that the 4 small bolts securing the solar panel 'ARE' the ones needed later for attaching the brackets.Tip:1. Use the big fat screws in the bag to fasten the solar fan to the roof deck2. Unscrew the 4 top corner small 'bolts' to free the solar panel3. Use the same 4 'bolts' (with the nuts in the bag) to attach the bracket to the base and panel.4. Be careful not to lose the small parts when on roof. They can easily slip down and dissappear.

Good quality for the price
I am a roofing contractor. I tried this model out on a recent project. The fan is solid. The exterior housing was very study, which is important in the SE with all the hurricanes. Easy to install and operates within minutes of being in the sun. Good value for the price.

love this sucker
took about ten minutes for the install as long as you have all the tools with you,its heavy and large but works like a charm, pulled hot air out of the attic immediately and our small attic space and home had an immediate temp difference on the inside,i would venture to guess about 5 degrees but smaller spaces would probably cool down alot more, this is probably one of the better purchases i have made for the house ever.

1 of our 2 fans started squealing in less than a year
Bought 2 of these and installed them on our house at Lake Havasu. 1 of the 2 fans is still working properly but the other one started squealing after only about 9 months in use. Squealing has gotten really loud and annoying, to the point that I just covered the thing up, to stop the noise. Durability seems to be an issue with these fans. When they are operating you can definitely feel that they are pulling a good amount of hot air from the attic space. If the one was not making so much noise this would be a 5-star review.

Works Right Away
I purchased this attic roof fan two weeks ago and have finally taken the time to install it. I wished I had done it earlier.I live in West Texas, and finding ways to cool my house while not paying extra each month in cooling expenses. I tried a gable fan as well, but ii costs me money each month. This sucker started as soon as sunlight hit it.It took me all of about 10-15 minutes to remove the boring squeaky old style and install. I used a tube roofing sealant for installation and finishing.
