Fun game to play with my child he loves dinosaurs so the pictures on cards definitely encourage him to play more. We can spend hours playing.Very nice colorful set of cards, with good quality dino pictures. There's a few games you can play with those.Instructions for the games are not the best, but with a bit of a play you can figure it out.

Grand kids disappointed, dinorsours not in pairs but colours hard for them to understand 5& 7 better if dinorsours in pairs 😩

Purchased as a birthday present. I’ve heard good things!

Great game for all ages and abilities

Really likable game for dino fans and non dino fans alike. We have a family comprising Mum 42, Dad 40, Daughter 12 and Son 8... and we all throughly enjoyed playing this 3 times in a row! Not too long and not too short.Beware sore losers!If around £15, it's well worth the money.

Fun family game! We enjoy a good board game and this right up there with some of the best. The kids enjoy and so do we. Give it a go!

This is a fun game suitable for all ages based on the new Jurassic Park film. It was very quick to setup and easy to learn. Gameplay lasted about 40 mins or so. The board is quite a nice design and all pieces are well made. However don't expect this to be like other film board games as it seems to be a lot more simplistic and is definitely aimed at a younger audience (it does say this in the listing).In short each player has numbered cards which they use to move backwards and forwards around the board. You also have token cards which are used to free the dinosaurs - once you've freed 3 you proceed to the final dino, release that one and win the game. It seems good for kids as it involves remembering symbols, matching and counting.Couple of points though - Firstly all playing pieces are dinosaurs. So you play as a dinosaur and free dinosaurs. I haven't seen the film (it's not out yet) so am not sure if this is what happens but it might have been nice if you could play as human characters from the film (Goldblum, Neil, Pratt et al). Also as described above the gameplay is quite one dimensional. For an adult it could get boring after a couple of goes. I can't help but think that the expensive price tag is because it says 'Jurassic Park' on the box - nothing within the gameplay actual seems to relate to the franchise and this could just be a generic dinosaur game. If you're a massive fan of the films I probably wouldn't bother and there may be something better out there for you.Sadly I didn't order this for children and am unlikely to play it very often - it's not a patch on the Ravensburger film games such as Jaws or BTTF but then maybe it's not meant to be. A tenner would have been a better price.

Although box states 6+, my 5 year old easily caught on with what to do, and trying to be the first to free all the dinos, keeps his attention if just 2 people are playing, less so if 3 or 4 are playing as it takes longer for his turn again.There’s a lot of replenishing the movement cards, as every turn you have you need to place the card under the deck and collect a new one. I would have preferred just having a dice, I know some cards give a choice from two different numbers, so you have an option of which space you land on, but these could have been added to a dice instead.The suspense on your turn is whether you will land on a resource space to collect objects to help you rescue a dino, or a cage space where you discover whether you have the objects in your resource deck to rescue that dino. Or you can land on a blank space. Then the suspense cranks up when someone has freed 3 dinos and is heading to the middle to free the last dino.But you can free 3 dinos and end up in the middle with the last dino only to find that you don’t have the resources to rescue it and win, so you have to head back around the board to collect more resources, hard to take if that happens.
