These generate a warm ambiance on any lamp. Easy install and efficient as a night light as well. Good quality imo

Simply wanted to replace a couple decorative pole lights out by the sidewalk, as the ones I tried were simply too bright, even though they were low energy 40 watts...these fit the bill and not blinding through the bedroom windows now....plus have extras on hand.

The bulbs work great as a night light. Was using a brighter bulb that was too bright.

I needed this specific bulb and screw style for a lamp and the bulbs fit great, but they're significantly darker than I imagined. I purposely didn't order the brightest bulb on the market as I wanted something softer/warmer, but these bordered on candlelight! Works well and great for dark, moody lighting, but I wouldn't use as a funcitonal or reading light.

I bought these bulbs for use in Chick Brooder. The plastic red bulb part melted off the first night I had them in the Brooder. I have never had this happen in the past with the incandescent bulbs I used to buy, but they are no longer available. If you were trying to use these in a chicken brooder, they will not work. Disappointed.

What can I say? They are lightbulbs, You screw them in the socket and they light up yellow. If they do not light up have your big brother wet his finger and stick it in the empty light socket then proceed to other avenues of getting the bulb lit up (if you do not have a brother, have your sisters boyfriend do the test.)if the bulb is burned out or defective and just will not glow in another socket call Amazon and they will work with you and may give you a replacement or refund. This company also makes several other colored 1 watt light bulbs that are nice for ambient lighting. you can leave the bulbs on 24/7/365 and they might use 3 cents worth of electricity per year. They are well worth the money. If you do not like them then just give them away for birthday gifts.
