This case fits really well, and does have a hole for the lanyard (at least the one I received does).Doesn't make an expensive piece of cycling kit look cheap, either.I'd definitely recommend this for anyone who wants that extra bit of protection for their Edge 1040

With all the holes in the right places, this fitted my Garmin 1040 perfectly. Raised around the screen, you would be unlucky to drop this and have the screen break. The silicone gripped the road in a crash and spun the Garmin on the mount. While slightly marked, neither the Garmin nor the proactive cover showed any damage. Had the Garmin not been spun on the handlebar I wouldn't have known it had been hit.

Took a chance on ordering this with no reviews posted at the time. Unfortunately, while the cover does fit around the 1040, it does not have the hole in it for the lanyard to fit through. Instead the lanyard has to snake its way through the charging port cover opening. A minor nitpick to some, but if I’m paying for a cover that “fits” I want it to actually fit perfectly.

... und passt glücklicherweise auch noch an meinem Aero-Halter, obwohl der 1040 unten auch ohne Schutzhülle nur ein paar Milimeter Luft zum Lenker hat.Die Tasten lassen sich gut bedienen und die Rückseite ist ebenfalls geschützt, anders als bei einigen anderen Hüllen. Außerdem gibt es (jetzt) eine Öffnung für die Sicherungsschlaufe.

È la 4^ cover Tusita per prodotti Garmin che acquisto. Gia le precedenti mi sono sempre sembrate ottime (per Edge 520, 530, e varia). Con questa per 1040 ho avuto la conferma definitiva. Il negozio mi aveva dato in omaggio una cover Garmin, che copre solo i bordi, cosa che non mi convinceva per niente. Ho optato per questa, che oltre che proteggere tutto il 1040,come spessore e qualità del materiale direi che è uguale se non superiore alla originale Garmin (a un prezzo inferiore)

Funda perfecta a parte me gusta porque el tacto es fabuloso y no se le pega la pelusa. Tambien la tuve en mi anterior Garmin 530 y de maravilla. Por eso la he vuelto a comprar para el nuevo Garmin Edge 1040. La recomiendo 100x100 protege de 10.
