The locking mechanism is easy to operate and locks ok.The wire is thin but strong. It could be cut with bolt cutters if someone was that way inclined, this is more a deterrent for someone not to pick up my solar panel when camping at a festival and walking off with it opportunistically as they pass.The length is enough to get around my alloy, through a hole on the panel and to the lock, with enough slack to reposition the panel slightly as the sun moves.

Useful when traveling to guard against opportunist thieves and seemingly pretty robust.

Using to lock side gates. Easy to set up code and very flexible.

They are OK for the price. Not that robust and wire is small and thin. But for price ok. Su0plied very promptly.

This lock seems reasonably strong. It’s always a compromise when wanting a lightweight lock against the risk of theft of whatever you’re trying to protect. Obviously, reasonably strong wire cutters could probably cut through it but it would provide a deterrence against quick opportunist theft. I bought it for my skis it wrapped around them well and would attach them to something solid.
