Margaret Holmes Seasoned Field Peas and Snaps, 15 Ounce (Pack of 6)

I’m a southern girl from Raleigh, NC. These field peas and snaps taste just like my grandmother’s used to taste. The secret is to get the “SEASONED.” These are delicious and I make a meal out of one can all the time. Margaret Holmes Seasoned Field Peas and Snaps are a country girl’s veggie dream!

All cans bent

This combination of field peas with "snaps" is a tasty side dish by itself or combined with other beans and vegetables to make a sort of vegetable stew. To this I've added sausages, bratwurst, etc. to make a one dish/bowl meal.

For as expensive as they are, I would expect to receive cans that aren’t crushed and/or banged up.

No one carries field peas in the Colorado Rockies where I live. Grew up on them in North East Texas. Missed them so much I reached out to my Amazon Prime and they had a good source. Every bite is delicious, brings back sweet memories of my grandmother and her big garden full of fresh vegetables and field peas. Thank You for the wonderful flavor and the sweet memories.

These peas and snaps have a good flavor but there's a little too much salt.

There isn’t any way I could complete my cold Summer salad without the flavor and harmony of Margaret Holmes Seasoned Field Peas and Snaps.
