Comic Backing Boards (Silver Size, Pack of 100)

These are what I use for the usual size bronze-age monthly comic books that I own (with very pleasing results). If you want to store a thicker bronze-age comic (like a double issue or annual issue etc), you may need a bigger bag. Just depends on the page count. Standard bronze-age monthly comic books, against these (silver-age) size boards, in a regular size bag, provides a very nice fit.

I was prepared to be underwhelmed but these turned out to be great... for making mini fabric bolts. My fabric stash was in desperate need of sorting out and tidying. These have motivated me to do a proper job of ironing then folding and wrapping fabric neatly around them. Having previously just folded and stacked my fabric, initially I thought this might make my stash expand to take up more space but it hasn't although to be fair I have got rid of a few bits but not loads. These are pretty sturdy. I also bought some plastic aligator clips to keep fabric secure and jobs a goodun'! (I bought a pack of 200 clips- about a fiver- and didn't think I'd get through them but with 2 or 3 to a bolt I'm nearing the end of the packet). I've mostly got cottons and canvas but I think these would work for heavier fabric to. Once wrapped they're self supporting. Mostly, my fabrics are between 0.5 m up to 2m in length ish some with extra bits wrapped in to. Still got a bit to do but really pleased looks so neat and makes it so easy to see what I've got. I could have pinned notes to each with measurements etc but didn't bother. I've also now weeded out odds and sods for donating/recycling and made a note not to buy any more fabric for a while. (Laughs non-sensically at own joke that sewists will appreciate!) I can't speak to use for comics but these were ideal for my purposes. Neatly packaged with swift delivery thanks.

Great idea to use to display my fabric stash ..

I’m a dressmaker and I have an embarrassing amount of fabric in my stash, which was pushing the cupboard doors open. Are use this to roll and wrap my folded fabric lengths around, and now they look like I would in the shop and I have twice as much space in my cupboard!

There's not much to say about this product. I used it to store dressmaking fabrics and now my fabric stash is well organised. It's good, thick cardboard. I'm sure it would work equally as well for the intended purpose of comic book backing. It was also delivered 2 days before the expected delivery date.

I purchased these to sort out my fabric. Delivery & Packaging: The boards were securely packaged in a strong bag and arrived in perfect condition. In the box: The boards are packed wrapped in cellophane to keep them together and clean. They were perfect straight when they arrived with no creased corners-perfect. Review: Although these are intended to keep comics flat when storing I used them for wrapping fabric around as a way of storing them so it is easy to see what I have and also keeps them organised. After being a little sceptical of how easy this would be and whether these boards would be suitable I can assure anybody thinking of doing this with these boards that you will not be disappointed. Verdict: A versatile product which I would buy again. Recommended.

I used these as bases to wrap fabric for storage. I didn't want anything bulky. This is solid enough for my purposes & it worked well
