I use these for hang drying shirts. It’s easier to put damp clothes on them than dry clothes. They’re sturdy and allow me to hang twice as much laundry on my drying rack. And there’s no shoulder bumps once the shirts are dry.

These hangers quite well made. They'll surely last the test of time. When used for their intended purpose (Suit Jackets), they are absolutely marvelous! Easy on-off the hanger, and the coat won't slip off due to the coating. They work quite well for non-suit jackets & coats as well!The only improvement that I could think of, would be a rotating hanger head. But this is really not a big deal with coats/jackets, since orientation is straight forward.Now if you happen to buy them for garments other than suit coats, you'll have problems. Note that I didn't ding the rating, because these are being marketed as "Suit Jacket" hangers.There are a couple of design flaws that make them difficult for garments outside of suit jackets:1) Grippy rubber-like coating that prevents the garment from sliding off, when you want to use a garment. It's also equally as annoying to put garments onto the hanger because of the grip/friction2) The hanger head doesn't rotate. When you're hanging up garments, if you happen to put the garment onto the hanger with the front of the garment facing backwards, you can't correct this by rotating the hanger head.

These hangers are great for any wardrobe. The hold onto dress shirts, ties, pants, and even heavier jackets. The rubber coating not only provides grip so your clothes don't fall off, but they also provide a reassurance that any remaining metal burrs won't snag on your clothing.We used these hangers in our front closet and bedroom closet. I did find that when using them in the bedroom closet, I had a tendency to want to rotate the hook, in order to hook the hanger onto the closet rail as I look at the clothing item. These hangers are designed as one piece, so the hooks don't rotate. That's great for durability, but not ideal for a wardrobe. For me, I was able to hang the hangers on hooks on the closet door, so I could more easily peruse the clothing while not having to hold up the item myself.With our Winter coats in the front closet, the hangers didn't have any problem holding them up. We can now hang each person's scarf together with their coat, making things very organized and easy to get at. These are a great product to use if you've ever found your clothing having fallen off your hanger due to a bent or broken hanger.
