MasterMark Pre-Inked Premium Office Stamp - ScannedVery red inkUnlike other pre-inked stamps I've bought, this one has a stamp surface that retracts. I have to press down for the stamp surface to be pushed down to the paper I'm stamping. This is a very nice feature because this means I can leave the stamp standing without it leaving red stains on my desk surface. I don't have to keep putting the cap on after I stamp. I can just leave it on the desk, capless, for the few hours or whole day that I want to use it.

I don't know who the big name in stamps is but I've been using a COPY stamp from my work made by Accustamp which is finally running out and this one is just great, leaves a nice dark red impression and rinks very quickly when I'm running through papers fast.No complaints, it's a very good stamp.

This is the type of stamp that doesn’t rotate when pressed, but simply moves down the case to the paper. Since the area that prints would otherwise be exposed, a cap is provided that normally covers the bottom.Otherwise, this is pretty standard, and should do the job.

I use Quickbooks and I like to mark the receipts when I enter them into the system. This stamp is a great way to provide that indication (I got the SCANNED stamp). Very easy to use and doesn't take up much space on your desktop.POSITIVES- requires little desktop or drawer space (measures two inches across the base)- Very legible, clear dark imprint. I am sure with time that the ink won't be as concentrated and bleed through won't be an issue.- No smell- Requires no ink padNEGATIVE- You must remove and replace the cap after each use to prevent the ink from drying out. The other option out there is a stamper that has a retractable ink pad that automatically moves out of the way when you apply pressure. I found the cap easy to remove and replace with this stamper and it fit well. Not a deal breaker for me.Would I recommend the purchase - Absolutely!

I have used these types of stamps for decades and this time really got a dud.The impression started fading after only about 2 months of light use, and is nearly illegible now in the 5th month. By comparison, the same brand's "Scanned" stamp that I use about half as often is still vibrant and clear.Very disappointed, especially since finding ink to work with these isn't easy, and costs just as much as a new stamp.
