Good explanation of our bodies for kids
My 3 year loves this book and it is a good book to explain different body parts and how amazing our bodies are. Some of the drawings could be perceived as scary to a small child for example the pictures of skin or muscles as there are no facial features, however this is a minor concern as my child who can get easily scared didn't seem to mind them.

Good starting point for discussion
Good starting point for little ones interested in bodies. It's not the most accurate or the best written book, but my daughter loves it

I enjoyed reading this to my 3 sons, we had giggles but they were able to see the differences. Good source when building a foundation to start conversations with children.

Great introduction book.
Good book....Understanding level is above 5UPDATE: I thought that my daughter is not understanding the concepts and so shelved the book. I took it for another try after almost 2 months and was surprised that she remembered almost everything!!Good book for introduction onthe topic

This would probably be good for older children who have started
For some reason I did not see that is was a coloring book which makes it less interesting for 4-5 yrs old. This would probably be good for older children who have started sciences

Great book, but arrived too late to use it this year. It also had water damage.

Very basic, for younger children
I really don’t want to give anyone’s creative work a bad review so I settled at 4/5.Pros: Great illustrations. The flow of information is good and it goes over basic body functions and very basic parts.Cons: Very, very basic and doesn’t fulfill the reason why I got the book. Doesn’t actually give you any bone or muscle names. Gives basic information that most 3 year olds already know. My kid (3 1/2) has been asking all about the body and what are the names of certain bones. This book didn’t get us any new information. If you’re looking for a nice read to go over basic body parts this isn’t bad. I definitely don’t hate reading it like some of our other books (Totally Tractors, I’m looking at you). Would probably be better suited for two year olds. It’s not a bad book, just wasn’t what I was expecting for a book about the body. Looking for something with some more information.

Great intro to anatomy - kids love skeletons!
Cute book, simple, good to lay some very basic groundwork for anatomy for my 3 & 5 year old. They are very curious, and being able to see how bones, muscles, and then skin layer is really interesting to them - especially the 3 year old (my 5 yr old has a rudimentary understanding of it all to start with).

covers the basics
We've had this book for a while, but tonight is the first time my toddler has asked me to read it for bedtime. It covers all the basics without getting gross. It mentions cuts and bleeding, it's in a reassuring way to let them know their body makes plenty of blood. It's more documentary than story, so maybe a story book after would feel more like pre bed feel goods than this one.
