Rinnai EX38CP Direct Vent Wall Furnace C Series LPG MX 36500 BTU "Less wall thermostat capability"

This is my second Rinnai heater, bought the next size down in 2009 and haven't had a single issue with it. This new heater heats fast and efficiently. pretty quiet and heats a large studio space quickly. Install can be done by homeowner, except for gas hookup which should be done or inspected and tested by professional. I ordered from Big Frog Supply because I read many reviews that spoke of shipping damage. Big Frog Supply crated my heater and shipped by freight. They are also very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. All my worries were put aside. Best gas heater out there. The listing had an older model. They automatically upgrade to the latest model.

This unit is designed to heat 1,000 sq ft. I'm heating 2,000 sq ft in a newer home with ease with it. Much more even heat than a gas stove or gas fire place. This unit was 2 years old when I received it from the dealer who did not disclose this. . They never told me it was a new 2 yr old unit. I paid market price for a new unit and was sadly disappointed. Installation was very easy. I've put 750 Gal of propane through the unit now and it finally stopped rattling for the most part. That noise was very disappointing. Warranty covers only part and not labor.

Bought this to heat detached 14X32 shed in southern Colorado mountains. Shed is normally unheated. I turn it on manually as needed. Yesterday morning started at 5 degrees. Shed heated to 60 degrees in about 45 minutes. Heater is really quiet, even as it is coming up from single digits. Love the variable fan and burn rate. It can barely be heard as it maintains 60 degrees. I rarely write reviews but had to give credit where it is due on this one.

The unit is efficient and very quiet. It would have been nice to have one with the outside thermostat but I did not pay for one. It would have been a little easier to control the room temperature but with all the safety features this is a really nice unit.

Purchasing my second unit for a multi family re-build. First one up and running. Quiet, comfortable and inexpensive to run. Easy install too. Shipping was a tad slow but OK.

Bought this to replace a furnace as my primary heat. Had my local propane company come and hook it up and one of them was electrically shocked through the gas line. They called there supervisor to come look at it and determined there was a fault with the unit when it was plugged in it sent 120 bolts through the gas line outside.. needless to say that is very dangerous so I can not recommend this product. I was very disappointed. I am in the process of trying to return now

Delivery was very fast. Rinnai propane monitors always delivers when it comes to putting out the heat. We like Rinnai so well that we added a second propane monitor.
