Smooth and better
I had Kwikset smart key deadbolt. Internal mechanical part broke Off. And key got jammed after 5years.I bought Schlege and another Kwikset and I had to return both.Brinks was much easier to install and very sturdy.This product doesn’t have many reviews but it’s worth a try. It turns smoothly.

The lock looks great on our door. I wish it would be heavier duty and provided longer screws.

Used on crawlspace door
Crawlspace had a house standard doorknob. Had a tornado come threw and it blew open. I ordered this since a deadbolt goes in further than a knob latch. Door is a lot more secure with no wiggle.

Great keyed deadbolt.
I just moved into a new apartment, needed new door knob and dead bolt. They weren't a matching set but, they look great. Easy enough to install. I once worked for Dunbar and Brinks is their competition. Brinks is known for high level security, they probably rate their deadbolts a level lower than they are so, I normally buy brinks when it comes to thinks like locks and safes.
