Absolutel game changer for working with agar plates, this handle is so nimble compared to other scalpel handles I've used. it's like using a nice pen to write. Highly recommend upgrading to one of these

Good to find this. It's more or less indentical the long handle that used to be the number 5. Swann Morton have obviously changed their numbering system over the last few decades as the number 5 is now a short rather broad handle. If you prefer a long handle, and in my opinion they are much easier to control, then this is the one for you.The handle was delivered quickly and at a very reasonable price.

Replaced an old one (25years)

Easy to handle ... Makes more accurate cutting for my airbrush stencils.

I like the quality of this product. I DISLIKE the fact that the seller did not indicate the size of blade needed.
