Rapesco 1054 720 4-Hole Metal Punch, 22 Sheet Capacity, Black

I ordered this Rapesco 4-hole punch with some confidence, having had an excellent experience with a fancy Rapesco 2-hole punch. It's a well-made item, with a very sturdy lever and cutting blades that punch holes cleanly and without undue effort. I used it to punch 2*72uM laminated sheets of everyday office-quality paper, and it comfortably cut through six laminated sheets at a time. (I figure that's near enough the rated 20 sheet limit. I didn't try it with more than six sheets at a time, though I'm sure it would have done more.) It has split bases that allow the punched paper clippings to be disposed of quickly and without too much drama, though there's a little bit of jiggling involved in getting every last bit out. There's a locking tab to allow the lever to be locked down to minimise storage size, if needed. The only issue I have with the punch is the budget implementation of the paper guide. It's clearly been made to a budget and adjusting it is a bit hit and miss as there are no discrete stops for the various paper sizes. It's fine once it's set up, but if I was using this punch for two sizes of paper, I'd get fed up with it quickly. If you only need it for one size like I do, you'll be fine. As this is a budget punch I am happy with the decision to cut money spent on the guide and focus on the cutting components, which work smoothly and efficiently. All in all it's a nice bit of kit that works without issue and I find it great value.

Cheap is always good - when it actually works. This one does work. Simple to use and looks like all the others out there, functional. Fabricated from metal, so should endure plenty of punching operations. If you are going to insert 22 sheets of paper, then you may find that the fit is tight... especially with the punched paper under the pins.

Producto imprescindible en cualquier oficina. Al sacarlo de la caja y del plástico protector en el que viene, hay que quitarle el seguro que trae, para que se abra completamente. El protector, permite almacenar la perforadora de una forma segura. Ajustando la pieza gris que trae, permite hacer 4 agujeros o 2, por lo que nos servirá para archivadores tanto de 4 anillas como de 2. Parece un material robusto y permite hacer agujeros sin apenas esfuerzo y de una sola vez, unas 20 hojas de 80-90grs. La base inferior, permite ver si el espacio que guarda los restos de la perforación está lleno, y abrirlo y vaciarlo. También tiene una pestaña transparente, donde podemos poner el nombre de la empresa o departamento, y tenerlo así siempre localizado. La base es de silicona, y evita que se deslice o se mueva al hacer los taladros. Un producto muy recomendable.

Ich habe den 4fach-Locher gekauft, weil meine Tochter aus dem Urlaub einen Ringhefter mitgebracht hat, den wir sonst gar nicht hätten nutzen können. Inzwischen benutze ich ihn selbst sehr oft, denn er locht sauber und ein praktischer Nebeneffekt ist, dass die Unterlagen damit direkt für andere Ordner vorbereitet sind. Er nimmt er auf dem Schreibtisch kaum Platz weg und macht in dem wunderschönen pink einfach direkt gute Laune. ☺️
