Cheap is always good - when it actually works. This one does work. Simple to use and looks like all the others out there, functional. Fabricated from metal, so should endure plenty of punching operations. If you are going to insert 22 sheets of paper, then you may find that the fit is tight... especially with the punched paper under the pins.

Does it work is the only thing I care about (it does), so I got mine in hot pink to save a few quid. It loses one star as the product page showed a *very* vague centre marking, which you would use to centre your page (if you didn't want to use the grey guide on the left). I have added my own marking with a pen. I don't know how long that will last. To be clear though, this star was only taken off because it represents a difference from the description. The grey guide on the left works perfectly well to line up your page, so there's no real issue here (as long as it doesn't break). The hole punch lock seems like a bit of a pointless feature, but it works, and it's easy to disengage (without even touching the slider) The page guide (on the left in my picture) also seems a little bit pointless. * 1 : when *NOT SET* to a specific page size it will be at it's most useful (4 hole A4) * 2 : it's hard for me to read (I think that's a colour thing, but I do also need glasses) * 3 : there's 2 A4 settings! - The A4E setting will let you hole punch the top of an A4 sheet (I can't see myself ever using this) - The A4S setting will let you punch the side of an A4 sheet .... with 3 holes rather than 4? I'm not sure how this is ever going to be useful! The unit seems quite sturdy, so that's good. Only time will tell if it lasts.

Price as well as quality was important for me on this purchase. Rapesco products usually have a good reputation so the fact this was a good price made my decision. Metal body, quite strong spring so be careful if you have a slippery desk as it may spring away from from you if you accidentally lose grip mid punch. For my home office/ occasional use hence not wanting to spend lots but would equally be at home in a commercial office. Can't imagine how a more expensive one could be any better, it's a 4 hole punch and it punches 4 holes and is built to last.

Happy with this product - strong solid and sturdy.

Couldn't make head nor tail of the page size stopper, but used my common sense, so please check. I am delighted with it. Cuts through a lot of pages comfortably without harming the hand or over-exercising arm muscles. Nice and sharp - cuts lovely and clean.

This hole puncher is incredibly sturdy and stable. The build is solid and quite heavy, which makes it stay firmly in place while using it. I personally can punch through 8–10 sheets of paper at once without any problem. I’m sure someone stronger could handle even more in one go. Overall, it feels like a very reliable tool that will last a long time. Highly recommended!

Perforatrice qui fait très bien son travail : trous nets et plusieurs pages en même temps sans problème. Le plus : elle a un cran de sûreté facile d'utilisation qui permet de maintenir baissé le levier quand on veut la ranger !

Producto imprescindible en cualquier oficina. Al sacarlo de la caja y del plástico protector en el que viene, hay que quitarle el seguro que trae, para que se abra completamente. El protector, permite almacenar la perforadora de una forma segura. Ajustando la pieza gris que trae, permite hacer 4 agujeros o 2, por lo que nos servirá para archivadores tanto de 4 anillas como de 2. Parece un material robusto y permite hacer agujeros sin apenas esfuerzo y de una sola vez, unas 20 hojas de 80-90grs. La base inferior, permite ver si el espacio que guarda los restos de la perforación está lleno, y abrirlo y vaciarlo. También tiene una pestaña transparente, donde podemos poner el nombre de la empresa o departamento, y tenerlo así siempre localizado. La base es de silicona, y evita que se deslice o se mueva al hacer los taladros. Un producto muy recomendable.
