Well what can I say about this miraculous stuff? I had a GSD who had an extremely sore ear quite a few years ago. It was so bad that it didn't respond to antibiotics and the vet ended up sending a sample of the muck in the ear off to the lab. Came back it was a certain type of bacteria which needed a specialised antibiotic. Vet said come back in a week and we will see. Long story short I rang my dog's breeder who told me another of her owners had rang her about an ear problem saying she had used Thornit on recommendation and it had worked. She passed on the phone number to me. I rang and spoke to Miss Betts who gave me a thorough lecture on mites and vets! Turns out she had had a very hard time introducing Thornit and had a lot of opposition including being take to court. She told me she was going to send me some straight away and not wait for my cheque (yes it was that long ago!) because my poor dog was in dire need. She said use it for a week and then take your dog back to the vet, show him the ear and tell him that is was Thornit that cleared it up. Well one week later my dog's ear was perfect. All the wax had gone and the dog had stopped shaking and scratching the ear. I didn't dare tell the vet it was Thornit wot done it! I would these days because I am older and am more inclined to tell it how it is and not worry about stepping on sensitive toes. I now have a six month old GSD who came with the same black wax in her ears and was told to gently use wet cotton wool to clean the ears out. Well I know better and got myself some Thornit and used it as directed for one week and when I checked her ears they were totally cleared of wax. She had no problems since. She came from an excellent breeder so I was surprised she had mites but they are easily picked up and she wasn't scratching her ears so I guess she hadn't had them long.

My daughter and I have spent a couple of thousand on vet bills due to on going infections with our bull dogs ears. We were told by the vets the next stage would be ear drum removals which had us both frantic with worry as the bull dog is a big boy and the operation alone could kill him. I then heard about thornit and having done loads of research decided what have we got to lose by trying. Thornit was the best decision we have ever made and I am so thankful we found out about it. Treated 3 times a week for the first week and we now administer once a week and the big boy has been infection free for months now and to say we are relieved is an understatement. Last week I visited the vets for my little cat and at the counter was a gentleman paying over 200 pound for his visit and his poor dog was to be admitted the next day for an ear op. Crazy as it seems I wanted to shout "dont do it". For anyone who has a pet with on going ear infections please, please ,please try thornit as it really is a miracle worker.

Thornit ear powder is such a game changer. Our old terrier used ear drops from the vets for years with small/no improvement. Thornit cleared the ears and got rid off any problems within weeks. We now use it regularly in all our dogs ears. It just keeps them clean and dry. 10/10

Very good product. Got for my shitzu who has a bad skin condition. Tried everything that the vet had prescribed but never worked. Got this and within a couple of days he had stopped scratching and his skin looked so much better. Will defo continue using.

I was at my wits end when my poor labradoodle continued to suffer with his ears even after two lots of prescription products from our vet & no sign of him getting better. Been using it for years, brill product

Every spring and autumn our little dog was prone to getting ear mites, but since discovering and using Thornit on a regular basis he's been ear mite free. I use a small brush to dust the ear flap, then massage it gently and a little really does go a long way. It does have a very distinct smell that I wouldn't describe as unpleasant at all.
