I haven’t assembled this yet as I’m not convinced it will be suitable. Also it was grubby when I opened it which is off putting.I did notice the seat is very light weight and the ferrules on the legs are quite wide. This should mean it’s very stable and not likely to tip over.Both the seat and the free grab rail had marks on them when I took them out the box. An antibacterial wipe cleaned the grab rail but I couldn’t get the seat clean.The texture on the seat will seem like a good idea to be more non-slip but it will attract mould which apart from being nasty, does also make surfaces slippery. There is a fine line between mobility items being helpfully non-slip and a part-time cleaning job. Extra cleaning when you’re already in pain isn’t nice. Maybe if it’s dried off after use it will help minimise the mould.The grab rail concerns me. I would rather have something properly fixed to the wall to be safer. I wouldn’t be happy trusting it would hold if I grabbed it to stop me falling. It does have a sticker on saying it needs to be refitted weekly. Remember this if you have bought it for someone that will rely on you to remember.The shower scrunchy is tiny and I wish they hadn’t bothered.If it wasn’t dirty out the box, I would have given it four stars.

My 93 year old grandmother lives over 200 miles away, so when my family come to visit they normally have to bring a car full of my grans disability aids due to the fact they tend to stay for around a week at a time. One of the items they always bring is the shower seat so that Nan can have a shower whilst she is staying here. When i came across this product i thought it would be useful to have a shower seat permanently at my house so that my family didn't have to pack one each visit.The shower seat needs some basic assembly, as you can see in my review picture - however this is straight forward enough. What i did notice however is that the cross bar screws are incredibly difficult to tighten up, therefore i doubt many elderly people would be able to put this together safely - my nan certainly could not with her disabilities, she just wouldn't have the strength to safely tighten the screws. I would highly recommend a younger family member assembles this chair to be on the safer side. In total it took me around 15mins to fully put together.When i turned the chair upright i noticed that it was very wobbly, and i immediately said to my partner that is not safe for my nan. However my partner suggested rotating the rubber feet which are slightly angled, we did this and levelled the feet with the floor - this resulted in the chair sitting flush with the floor and becoming a lot more stable, i was now comfortable that this was safe enough for nan.The seat has no cushioning, it's hard white plastic with several drain holes. This makes for easy cleaning but may be uncomfortable to use for a long time. The one my nan currently has in her home has a cushion seat covered by pvc. For a quick shower i would suggest however that this seat is perfectly fine.The seat is a fairly decent size, we have a small ensuite shower room which nan tends to use - this seat fitted in there but only in one place, against the back wall, if we moved it to the side we could not shut the shower door, however this is no different to my nan's main seat that she normally brings with her.In summary i think this is an excellent little shower chair for an elderly person, or someone with disabilities. It's pretty lightweight (i was able to pick up with one hand), the aluminium frame is solid and the chair is very stable once the rubber feet are aligned correctly. I am very happy with this product and i am sure my nan will be too when she visits me in a weeks time.I hope that you found my review helpful.

great price, I assembled without the instructions so super easy, Comfort just like any other shower chair normal. It slipped whe i put it in the shower at first but there was soap, once i cleaned it never slipped again even when got soap again.Make sure to clean your shower floor before installing it, after that it would get pretty sturdy and safe. Size its just as shown, fits perfectly on my shower and super easy to pick up and move around.

This seat is definitely easy to assemble - just as long as you don't put the wrong screw in the wrong place (not all screws have the same length). There's not even any tool required to do it.It seems solid and sturdy - so far. Time will tell. I may adjust my review later, if necessary.I personally did not like the slant rubber feet, so I ordered a flat rubber set from Amazon and it seems perfect now.Note: the instructions mention that the capacity is 350 lbs.I don't know why it's advertised as having a capacity of up to 500 lbs. Just saying.
