Cap moves freely
The cap moves freely on the rivet just like it should. This fits great on my 1.5” exhaust pipe. Performance is perfect. Quality is good, only suggestion would be a thicker metal to make it more rugged. It can be bent around easily by hand.I ordered a different one that had a bolt holding the flap in between a bracket. Even with a bushing, this design still made the flap stick from being clamped between the bracket. If I loosened it up, everything would rattle louder than my tractor exhaust itself. I couldn’t get it right even after adding washers, bending the brackets around, and trying to add a lubricant to the inside of the bushing. Not worth the effort so I threw that one out and ordered this one instead.

Fits fine on my Ford 640 tractor and was easy to install.

Works perfect
I needed a flapper valve when I re-routed the tractor exhaust to exit vertically above the tractor. Black was a good color since it would get all black from the exhaust anyway.

Okay but not great
It's a decent unit, but the welding and alignment have much to be desired. Very little of the unit is square or level, causing over a 1/2" deviation of the flap.
