Spore Class (PC DVD)

My son kept going on and on about this game, to be honest l didn't have a clue. I read the reviews, looked at videos on utube. Made sure it was suitable and then got the game for a bargin price. It works fine on windows ten, my son has been playing it non stop since it arrived and nothing about the game is cause for concern. Great game.

My daughter is really enjoying this game and show no sign of losing interest after a couple of weeks. We had no issues installing or running it on our Windows 7 desktop. My only slight bugbear is that it causes confusion about some aspects of evolutionary theory, otherwise I would rate it 5. It looks likely to be of more interest to older children and young teenagers, but that is probably the primary target market anyway.

When Spore arrived, I downloaded it which was fine and then played it. If you know spore then you will know that it goes through stages (cell being the first out of 4). I played through this first stage without any problems but when I got to the second stage it had a lot of glitches in it! I then looked at the box and realised that my laptop did not have the high enough RAM to support this game. When I was looking to buy it, it did not say what requirements you had to have so when buying it be aware of this. I love this game usually but not with glitches in it!!!

Went down a treat with my kids although it would not work at all on my IMAC even though the spec did say that it was IMAC compatible - I even contacted EA games for guidance with no avail. Worked well on out older PC though. The kids have been playing it for weeks now and aren't bored yet.

I wouldnt give any stars but unfortunately thats not an option! There is a reason this product isn't eligible for return, it doesn't work! Not looking forward to telling my Son his gift from Santa is a load of rubbish, complete and utter waste of my money and my time.

Spore is a fascinating game. My daughter plays it whenever she can. However, I do not recommend that you buy the PC DVD. I bought 2 of these, and having installed the first, I could not get it to run. I tried with the second disc, and with another 2 machines, Windows 10 and Vista, but it would not run on these either. I discussed this with a Microsoft technician. He confirmed that my disc drive was working properly. He also commented that this game is now only recommended for download. I contacted the publisher, Electronic Artists (EA). Thankfully they accepted the product codes inside the boxes as a credit for the downloads, but I had to send a photo of a box and disk, and a printable copy of my Amazon order confirmation. I have also had to install EA's "Origin" games portal in order to access the Spore server. The game is working well on Windows10. However, there is a known glitch at later stages in the game where your creature is not how you created it to be and is marked "Bad Data", but that does not interfere with the gameplay. My daughter still loves it.

I lost my first copy, years ago, but recently had a sudden urge to play again. Great game! I usually enjoy EA's games. It's a fantastic concept & the UI & graphics are still good, even all these years later. Arrived promptly & packaged securely.

Brought this for my 8 year old. It was a bit of a faff to load up on the PC TBH. After having to uninstall it twice we eventually got there. The game itself is great. You have to design various creatures & help them to survive & evolve. My son says its fun, exciting and well worth buying! :)

an dem Produkt ist nichts auszusetzen, lediglich kann es nicht auf iMac`s High sierra installiert werden. Ich habe versucht sowohl auf meinem iMac 2011 21,5 Zoll i5 mit 20gb Ram Spore zu installieren, sowie auf dem neuesten Macbook pro. Bei dem iMac war die Installation mit ach und krach vollzogen worden(nach 3x installieren ist es nicht mehr beim booten abgestürzt), jedoch scheint die verbaute graphics meines iMacs nicht für da spiel auszureichen, habe nur circa 10 frames. Daher wollte ich es auf dem Macbook versuchen, in der Hoffnung das es durch up to date hardware dort funktioniert. Jedoch bekommt man schon nach Eingabe der cd (durch externes Laufwerk) die Meldung, das High sierra spore nicht unterstützen würde. Hierbei gab es keine Chance auch nur das spiel zu starten, stürzt sofort ab. wer gerne spore heute noch kaufen will und auf dem iMAC spielen möchte, sollte sich erstmalig über seine Graphics card schlau machen und dann spore auf origin herunterladen, da dort durch das umgehen der Patches eine Möglichkeit besteht das Spiel zu starten, sowie man auch keine externe Festplatte braucht. Ich kann leider auch nicht sagen, ob der Code, den man zur installation braucht, korrekt ist (Ich gehe aber stark davon aus, da verifiziertes Produkt). Jedoch ist er in der Verpackungsinnenseite vermerkt, jedoch nicht wie bei der damaligen Zeit in einer Broschüre.

Uscito nel 2008, è stato particolarmente apprezzato dalla comunità scientifica, nel ho sentito parlare per la prima volta in TV e me ne sono subito innamorato, ma al tempo non avevo un PC su cui poterlo far girare in maniera appropriata. Appena ne ho avuto la possibilità ho acquistato la mia copia che preferisco sempre fisica. Ovviamente la grafica non è quella dei giochi attuali, ma la possibilità di personalizzare ogni aspetto dell’evoluzione di una forma di vita è veramente interessante e divertente, oltre che essere molto educativo. Le meccaniche di gioco sono chiare fin da subito e la difficoltà cresce linearmente con l’evoluzione delle creature. Non è particolarmente longevo, con alcune fasi dell’evoluzione molto più corte rispetto ad altre. L’ultima risulta un pò noiosa alla fine, nonostante ci siano delle attività (come la terra formazione) che risultano veramente divertenti. Lo consiglio fortemente come regalo per i bambini di età compresa tra i 10 e 13 anni, anche se con le generazioni attuali va bene prima e ovviamente per tutti i nostalgici che vogliono questo piccolo pezzo di collezione del proprio espositore.

La verdad ya conocía este juego y no conseguía encontrarlo. es muy entretenido y pueden jugar hasta los mas pequeños de la casa. Con el precio que tiene ahora es una compra recomendada y merece la pena. NOTA: aunque la carcasa venga en inglés cuando instalas el juego permite elegir el castellano entre otros idiomas.

My kids love this game and cant get enough of it. There is alot of replay value here since the main characters you make change with every decision you make.

Super jeu, fonctionne très bien sur Windows 10. Mon fils et ravi. Est arrivé très très rapidement.
