Not too many years ago, I was diagnosed with the beginning stages of macular degeneration. My optometrist advised me to start taking this product. After a few months, I was retested and it was determined that my macular issue had stabilized.

This specific product recommended by my doctor to slow progression of age related macular degeneration about 5 years ago. Have taken it regularly and there has been no increase in the macular degeneration since I started with it, has not moved further toward my field of vision.

Good product

Mom is 81 and has been taking these for well over a decade. She has Macular Degeneration and her Optometrist prescribed them as it was progressing. They're extremely effective. Since she started taking these, she's had barely any progression and her eye appointments are always good news! If that's not a health benefit I don't know what is . She had cataract out 8 years ago and doesn't even need glasses. She sees that same doc every year and said she sometimes has trouble with small print and he told her to get a pair of 1.00 strength readers from the dollar store because she doesn't need a prescription! Of you're on the fence...BUY THESE. The price is for 3 months worth and we spend less in a year on them than it would cost for one pair of glasses. Small oval shape with soft exterior is easy to swallow.

It has kept my macular degeneration at bay it hasn’t increased

Vitamins are great. Not the vitamins my eye doctor said I really needed. I used them up and purchased the ones he told me I needed since I did not have macular degeneration

It is really hard to evaluate this since this is for eye care and preventative in nature. If macular degeneration does not occur, it is hard to say Macuhealth is why. I take this because my eye doctor strongly recommends this and she said this was an improvement over AREDS. I am satisfied with the product. The gels are easy to swallow. There is a mild sweet coating on the gels I suppose to make it tastier when swallowing. I give 5 stars because it was eye doctor recommended and evaluated as superior to AREDS. Also it is easy to take. Efficacy though is unclear since it is a long term thing with eye health.
