It's warhammer 40k, we know it's super out of this world scifi....But F me running there are some gaping plot holes even the warp can't cover up! It's super fun reading, the characters are really cool and fleshed out and consistent through different authors.....BuuuuuuuutThere are so many plot lines that are just abruptly cut off or not fulfilled. Even the "bad guys" (ddeliberately ambiguous to avoid spoilers) get a ridiculous cutoff ending.But despite all that I was hooked, I tutted quite frequently because of disappointing bits but the rest kept me hooked. It's a part of 40k I've not read before (even if itt feels like a bit of a Halo steal)It's an omnibus on the cheap. For theprice and the size I don't think a 40k fan would be disappointed. Just don't expect anything mindblowing.
