I wanted to like this book. Maybe because of that, my expectations were too high. I like the old-school cartoon artwork. Unfortunately, that is the best thing about the book.This is a gag/pun a panel book. I remember the cartoon series (the original cartoon series) being funny but balanced with action. This book just does not deliver for me.The book has four stories, none of which are particularly memorable, just more gags that action. The book finishes with a varient cover gallery and sketchbook.

This is perfect, the illustrations are just like the old cartoon and the story is awesome! Great for a TMNT fan!

These stories are pretty entertaining and cheesy, much like the '87 cartoon. The art style is great, lettering is very nice, and the colors are beautiful. The plots themselves are fun if nothing else.The book itself is a nice glossy paperback with good thick pages. Great purchase

Mega, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Saturday Morning Adventures, Vol. 1" hat mich direkt zurück in die 90er katapultiert, wo Samstagmorgen noch vor dem Fernseher verbracht wurde. Die Comics fangen den Geist und die Aufregung der alten Zeichentrickserie perfekt ein, und als jemand, der mit den Turtles groß geworden ist, war das ein richtiges Highlight für mich. Die Qualität des Comics ist top, und die Geschichten fühlen sich an, als wären sie direkt aus einer der besten Episoden. Für Fans der Turtles oder Leute, die auf der Suche nach einem Stück Nostalgie sind, ist das ein absolutes Must-have. Als Sammlerstück macht sich der Band auch super. Einfach klasse, dass es sowas noch gibt!
