Unlike many bikes, mine doesn't have the pre-drilled holes to be able to screw in the cage quickly. I had to use the mounting hardware, which almost didn't fit around the frame, but I made it work. Installation itself is easy, it just took me a little longer to do than others because I had to manipulate the mounting hardware and angles to get it right. I looked at many other cages and would have preferred a low-profile, less bulky one but this was the only one that comes with the mounting hardware (I don't understand why others can't include a mounting hardware, why should I have to buy this separately? Just add it an charge an extra $) I've been on a few bike rides with this new accessory now and so far no complaints. The see-through indicator is great to check how much water is left. The rubber grips ensure the bottle won't slip out of the cage even on bumpy rides (despite condensation from thawing ice water). The bottle did not have any plastic smell (some users reported this, no issue for me). And the value can't be beat. The plastic bottle top is a nice touch. Go for this product.

I bought this for my new Schwinn mountain bike so it was nice to find the brand match. The cage fit in perfectly and the water bottle itself works exactly like a water bottle should. Great price, very good quality and would buy again for sure.

The included installation accessories are not very convenient to use, and if tightened too firmly, the aluminum plates will crack.

The bottle fits securely in the cage and doesn’t rattle while riding. Cage installation was quick and easy, and it looks clean on the bike. Bottle itself is lightweight, easy to squeeze, and holds plenty. For the price, it’s a solid deal that gets the job done without fuss

Good bottle and cage. You don't really need any installation instruction for this, seriously. If you own a decent bike, you could tell immediately where to put it. Just screw it on. It takes less than 1 minute to finish installation with an hex key (Allen wrench). The screw position and sizes have been already standardized for a long time, I guess. My bike is made in China and this cage fits well. For your info, this Schwinn bottle and cage are made in Taiwan. One problem I have with the bottle is that the mouth of the bottle is too tight and need to pull it out really hard. I don't think I could pull it out while I am riding the bike. I have to make it loose somehow. Maybe it would loosen itself over time. Who knows. I guess the workmanship for the plastic molding isn't of the highest standard.
