Very easy to install and they look great. We have them above our nightstands. The wall has wallpaper and we used a cord-cover with wallpaper on it to blend the cord with the wall. These are a great option for those looking for a built-in look with a plug-in lamp. They don’t cast a ton of light, which we like. They definitely aren’t task lights, but it’s enough light to read by. We only use them at night and it produces a very relaxing warm light.

They were easy to install and look beautiful above nightstands! Gives off good amount of light.

Aesthetically, these are nice-looking, minimalist lamps that can fit into the style of almost any room they're installed in. The lamp heads can tilt up and down, and pivot side to side. LED bulbs (2700K) are also included which is a nice convenience, and they have an appropriate amount of brightness for bedtime reading. However, the construction and quality of materials of these lamps isn't the best. Both the mounting plate and lamp base are made of thin, easily bent metal. The base doesn't fit snugly onto the mounting plate, causing the lamp to tilt slightly forward away from the wall. Both of the lamps I received have the switch facing toward the wall instead of outward and one has a slight bit of rust at the hinge where the lamp tilts. I'm not too upset about it, though, since I picked these up while they were on sale at less than half of their regular price and they do otherwise look nice. However, like I stated in the headline of this review, I'd recommend you only pick these up when they're marked down in price.

I was not sure about little light but glad I bought it. It fits where I wanted it to be. It actually turns out quite nice and functions very well. It does bring the coziness of the room.. the combination of gold and black goes well.

Very pretty and great price at the time, but smaller than I was hoping. Regular size LED bulbs also stick out beyond the rim and kill the look. Would be fine with a smaller bulb, but I want a bigger feel overall. I went with a different brand that hides regular size bulbs better.

This is my second time ordering these because I love them so much. They stayed with the old house when we moved so I had to buy another set for our new house. They are perfect, they give off the perfect amount of light at night, and the the shade keeps the bulb protected so the lights aren’t annoying me when I’m sitting in bed. Also, they free up so much space on the night stand.

I needed two sconce / accent lights for my living room. I wanted a modern look that also did the job of putting light where I needed it. So, I bought two of these and set them up. They do exactly what I wanted.The light is sufficient and they look great as installed. The base on these lights is functional enough and simple to screw in firmly. The decorative cover that goes atop that attaches firmly to the base and I've not had any problems with the set up.The light functions properly and provides the illumination I wanted as well as the "modern look" to the overall effect.

I ordered the first light and received an item that was deeply scratched, had flawed finish on the black base, wierd white paint-like residue on the cord, gold paint noticeably where it shouldn't be, a dented and rusting spot on the mounting plate... And the entire mount plate is positioned incorrectly; you cannot possibly hang the light as intended (or securely) with the lateral screw holes because they placed the cord cutout upside down (hey guys, you're supposed to position the tapered end of the screw holes ABOVE the round part, not below... cause, you know, then it just falls off the wall). You can't rotate the plate to the right position because of the cord.So... Ordered an exchange and lamp two arrives. Better paint job but SAME wrong orientation of the mounting plate. And the ventilation holes in top aren't actually punched out all the way. And the cord is kind of twisted up oddly. And the black base has a small dent. But I'm not returning it for a third try.Note, while the directions are not entirely correct (the anchors provided are awful but you can't actually just punch anchors directly into the wall), and you should definitely separate the mounting plate before attaching it to the wall (trust me, you'll want to tighten the screws directly over the plate given the ridiculous vertical hanging limitations), but ironically- the instructions show the proper assembly. They just didn't bother to manufacture it that way. Either time.

These lights are great for my intended use - I mounted them above my headboard to use as reading lights. They came well-packaged and in great condition. Very easy to mount and came with all the necessary hardware and directions for installation. I was also pleasantly surprised that they came with bulbs included!The design is sleek and modern and fits my decor well. As others have noted, the light is somewhat directional because of the opaque shade - definitely intended as a reading or task light as it will not diffuse light throughout the whole room.I will definitely buy from Rivet again and would recommend this fixture to others.

These were exactly what we were looking for as bedside lights. The back is black and the metal is gold. They are relatively small, can turn a bit from side-to-side and were a fair price. They were received in perfect condition and we had no issues installing-only took less than 10 minutes for both.

These were a great addition to our bedroom. They were well packed and seem of good quality and are stylish.The light is fairly dim so if you are looking for a bright light you might need to get new bulbs (mounting higher helps as well) but it is perfect for reading in bed.So happy with these and a great option if you like the look of sconces but don’t have them hard wired.
