Hilka69668608 8-Inch Half Round File

Find this very comfortable to hold and use. It has one flat side and the other side is curved. I used it on three huge fibreglass plant pots which each had a tiny drainage hole. The file was effective in making the drainage holes a decent size. 0kay, they aren’t exactly perfectly round.............but the plants don’t care and neither do I !

for the price the file is great i do woodwork and it was nice to have a bigger file that i could smooth out spoons and smaller things with, is deos clog a bit but i thing thats just the way it is i use a small shoe shining brush i got off ebay to clean it out best it can , would like to get a better file at some point that can take off more material but had this for about a year now and still is good thankyou :)

Excellent at a very low price. I'm sure files costing £5 or £8 are better but this did the job I wanted it for and probably another 10 jobs to come.The handle is good and grippy and it did a nice job of smoothing out an aluminium lever on a scooter than was sharp from being bashed.

To be honest i bourght this with some other knife making stuff thinking it would be pretty cheap and cheerful but i prefer this to my belt sander its so easy to use and feels sk good in hand

Decent file mine had a black and read handle which I quite like. Slightly bent as it comes off the handle which is reason for 4 star, I don't know if this is the design or if it's just bent but it makes it awkward to use. I would recommend as its good price to performance.

Needed to file the hole in a light fitting that was slightly too small. Did the job perfectly in minutes and all for £4. Rounded on one side and flat on the other.

Used this to clean the edge of a tap hole in a ceramic sink, it did the job buy the rubber handle moved when force was applied. The file itself was sharp and made the job easy, and cleaning at the end showed that the file wasn't too bad for wear considering how much I had filed.

Good quality for the price. Part of my mobile kit.
