I really want to thank everybody for putting such positive things about this product because that's the reason that I bought it my dog has been doing so much better she's 15 years old and she's been sleeping a lot but ever since I started using this she has so much more energy and so much more alive so thank you so much

Our sweet Pomeranian Cleo was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure almost two years ago. It’s now progressed to where she has the hallmark CHF cough, mostly in the morning and at night, but now she’s coughing during the day, too. It’s agonizing hearing her coughing so often, so intensely, and for such long periods of time. I heard about Dandelion and Hawthorne from a YouTube video posted by someone with a dog having the same problem with coughing as Cleo has. I clicked on the link he posted and it brought me to this product on Amazon. I ordered a bottle and within a few days of giving it to Cleo her cough had settled down considerably. We gave it to her twice a day mixed into a canned dog food she really likes and she gobbled it right up. I wasn’t on top of it when the bottle ran out so I hadn’t ordered another bottle to make for a seamless transition to a new bottle. Consequently she ended up missing about 4-5 doses and her old cough returned—She was coughing much more often and for longer periods of time than when she was on the D & H. By the 3rd day it was 100% clear that we needed to order another bottle, and soon! Once we had her back on her regular dose she once again returned to a briefer, less severe cough. We may eventually need to give her a third dose mid-day—It’s comforting knowing we have that option. An added plus is that it’s affordable unlike many of the other products out there for dogs with CHF. We’ll continue to give our sweet girl H & D consistently until she leaves us to join the angels. ❤️ THIS STUFF WORKS!

Our terrier mix started having trouble breathing... He was staring into space, and not even looking in our eyes. My son is the dog's actual owner. He told me, "It looks like Enzo is having trouble breathing?" I told him, "Enzo is dying."My son realized he had been in denial and rushed the dog to the vet's AT MIDNIGHT that night. The 24-hour vet service Vet took one look at Enzo and told my son that Enzo was in heart failure. There was just no hope. The Vet suggested euthanizing Enzo, to be merciful, right then and there. My son could not do it. He said he knew he should have agreed, Enzo was struggling just to stay alive. But he could just not make the decision to euthanize Enzo. When my son and the dog arrived back home at about 2 a.m. I was shocked... I didn't think they would come back home together. And, of course Enzo was still in dire straits, barely clinging to life. A website on dog health, re. dogs in the condition of ours said, "At this stage, your dog could pass away at any second."That night, while my son was down at the vet's, I scoured the Internet for something, anything, that might help his dog with his breathing issues. When I saw this product, I clicked on the reviews. A lady, writing a review, had EXACTLY the same experience with her dog that we were having with "Enzo". She said he gave him some of these drops, and he almost instantly improved?! What?! Within two days, her dog had made MAJOR progress. Now her dog was back to a normal, happy life. They now give him the drops EVERY DAY never miss, and will NEVER MISS until the dog's last day.I instantly bought some of these drops and, somehow, got them the next day! I am not an Amazon Prime member. Our Enzo was still panting, and staring into space, just continuing to, somehow, cling to life. He wasn't eating even his favorite treats, even if they were placed right in front of his mouth. I was surprised that he had survived even one more day. Enzo is older, and I didn't think he could stand up another second to his issues. I gave him some these drops, had to force them down him.Within a couple of hours, Enzo was looking me in the eye! I could NOT believe it. His breathing was still not great, but noticeably better! During the next 72 hours, I was with him constantly. A little quarter cup of water here, a little piece of bread. Within 3 days, it was like a MIRACLE. No, it wasn't LIKE a miracle, it WAS a miracle. I had been praying for Enzo. And I prayed and thanked God for directing us to this supplement. I thanked Him for the vets who had come up with the supplement's formulation.Yes, I know this is a dog we are talking about, not a human being. But if you have a dog you are bonded to, you know how I was feeling. I was so thankful that Enzo was still alive. In fact, I could not believe the change that Enzo was continuing to undergo. I am telling you, Enzo, that night, was just GONE. Gone. It was so sad, so sobering. You know your dog is not going to live forever. But you are never prepared for his passing away.Enzo was part of our family, had been through so much with us, and he was dying, going any second. I just knew his next short breath would be his last. His heart rate must have been 200 beats a minute. I thought, "Even a young, strong dog could not last with this kind of heart rate." And then, in 3 days, he was happy again, staring us in the eyes, and starting to eat a little bit again, drinking water. Making a comeback that was beyond incredible.That was the night of August 1st, 2022. I will never forget that night when the vet suggested euthanizing Enzo. He was right. But my son just couldn't do it. He just couldn't live with saying good-bye. The right decision was to let Enzo go.. Any vet would have made the same call. But my son's inability to do it just tells you how meaningful the bond was that he had with Enzo.I am writing this on December 29th. Every day for the past 5 months, I have thanked God for one more day with Enzo! A day we never thought we would have. Enzo is happy and loving, but we don't let him get too crazy physically . He is still on the edge of his life expectancy years, and is not a spring chicken! His overall health is obviously not great. But this supplement has bought us time! Each day with Enzo is a gift we never anticipated.If your dog is struggling with some of the issues mentioned in my review, or the other reviews on here; BUY this product and try it. You can get it in a smaller size. I just buy this large size because I know we will go through it, and be re-ordering! This large size is a really good deal! But you can buy a smaller size, couple-of-week's size, to try it. I know it is a kind of expensive. But I guess you can tell, I think this supplement is worth the money!I'm sorry for this long review! But I wrote it to support the opinion of others on here who took time to write and help convince me to try this supplement. I am so thankful that others wrote of their experiences. Their detailed reviews put me in their shoes, and gave me hope.To see our dog virtually come back to life, was one of the most special experiences I have ever had. To be able to hold him, and hug him, and to have him look up into my eyes, you know how it is!UPDATE: It is now April 4, 2025...and Enzo is still with us! I bought this to help my dog heal from kennel cough and it worked! He stopped coughing within 2 days of giving it to him in his food. I also started giving it to my other dog in the hopes of helping with his allergies and snoring - his snoring has subsided, surprisingly! He still experiences allergies but not as severely. And I added it to the pet water bowl so everyone could benefit, including my two cats. Great product just wish it wasn't so expensive. It's a small bottle and with two dogs and two cats, it goes quickly.

I had no problem administering the very small quantity dose for my dog. It does have a lot of alcohol so I let the 5 drops air out for a bit hoping the alcohol might evaporate. It did seem to help her but she did seem a bit off. She also had a loose stool the next day. That is abnormal for her. I will use this sparingly and only when my dog is symptomatic.

I don't like giving my dog drugs so this is a great alternative. I have been giving it to my elderly dog for about 4 years now. I just mix it in his food daily.

I do not recommend this product. Hawthorn is excellent for dogs with CHF, but it’s not natural for animals to absorb any form of alcohol into their system. My dog’s body was shaking after use. I switched her to a different brand that makes hawthorn tinctures that are more pure, without the alcohol. With that product she can also be dosed higher without any adverse side effects. The results have been amazing. Please think twice before using this product and the HWF product from the same company. This company really needs to look into making a safer and purer product for the long term safety and health of these animals. Dog= 10 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

I showed this product to my vet, and she said it was okay to give to my dog, even though my dog is on three medications for her heart. My dog is on Enalapril, Pimobendan, and Furosemide for heart disease. My vet said that the Hawthorn was a natural supplement and would not interfere with the medication. Also, my dog seems to be okay with it. She doesn’t try to run away when I squirt in into her mouth. 😊❤️
