Plantronics Audio 355 Multimedia Headset,Black Black

It's been 10 months since I bought this headset. I got it when an expensive one I had before snapped whilst playing an online game and I got sick of taping it up. I didn't have much money at the time so I bought this as a stopgap and I'm really glad I did. The sound is fabulous, rich deep dark bass and crisp clear treble. All you could ever ask for in sound reproduction. The flip down mic is fantastic. No more catching the mic as you put a headset on, and if you don't need to speak it's tucked up out of the road making the headset feel like a normal pair of headphones. Other people report that they can hear me perfectly and there's very little hiss or pop. I was recorded singing into this for a joke and the sound reproduction of that over Ventrillo came out fine. (unfortunately). I've had this in daily use for 10 months and it still looks and sounds new. The ear cuffs are still on it, comfortable as ever. The sound still works in both ears. The inline volume control still works and hasn't fallen to bits. In short don't waste money buying something more expensive. This headset does everything you want at a fraction of the price and lasts.

Since I have owned a Plantronic headset in the past ( Plantronics Audio 350 ), and that my last headset ( Gioteck EX-05s ) died after a split in the cable for the microphone, I decided to go back to Plantronics. Unfortunately, the Audio 350 was discontinued, so I decided to go for the Audio 355. I was not dissapointed. It still have great audio quality from the headphones, and the microphone quality is lso very good. However....the only downside this headset (which is why I scored 4 instead of 5 ), is that the ear cups are small and do not fit over the entire ear of an adult. They also tend to press on the ears which can become uncomfortable, and sometimes painfull after a long gaming session.

Moderately well built for the price. Quite nice sound quality for the price. Quite a poor fit, though. I'd only recommend to people with exceptionally small ears. I like the microphone position but I'm not sure who's head the headphones were designed for. I cannot get these to cover my ears properly for love nor money. The only way I can get them approaching a good fit is to have the headband tilt toward the back of my head which then makes them a little loose. I do have an unusually large head, although I have never had this problem on any other set of headphones I have bought. This means sound leaks in from the outside atrociously so if you don't have a quiet room I wouldn't recommend them either.

I have just received this headset after returning a Plantronics model costing over twice the price which I could not get to work with my Windows XP pro which has all updates. I am replacing an old Plantronics headset which had foam rubber ear pieces which did not last long. I needed a good quality headset to work with Dragon Naturally Speaking. I have just done a word test and the accuracy far exceeds my old set, which means the mic works just fine. To say I am elated is an understatement. Buy this set it really is worth it. It looks and works great. I can not faulty it. For quality the price makes it even more of a great buy. One point it comes with two gold plated plugs so as to connect to your sound card. I connected via a Plantronics USB adaptor from my old set. either way you know it works fine.

There is no doubt the headphones give good reproduction quality. I use the microphone with Dragon Naturally Speaking 11 and there is a marked improvement in accuracy relative to my old boom mike. However, the ergonomic design for comfort is poor on three counts: 1) The headband has too high a level of tension - even on small heads. 2) The headphones have minimal pivoting relative to the headband so the headphones don't distribute pressure equally on the ears. 3) The seals are more rectangular than oval which means they sit on the ear in places and off in others. Again, this produces pressure high points. As a result, this set gave me a headache after less than 1/2 hour of use. All is not lost: 1) the headband tension can be reduced by heating and bending the plastic across the arch of the band. Pivoting can be improved if you have a Dremel. The earphones have pivots that are made useless by the headphone butting up against the saddle that holds them to the headband. Judicious use of a Dremel grinding disc can open up the gap so the phones actually pivot. Then they are much more comfortable. A 3mm gap should do it for all but the smallest heads. That gives +- 20 degrees of pivot.

Tight fight and broke within the first week

They look and feel like more expensive headsets. The ear padding is very comfortable, it has 2 separate microphone and earphone jacks plus an adapter for my surface pro. The volume control feels a bit flimsy. I only use it for making skype calls not for listening to music.

This is a very high quality headset which provides excellent value for the money. I bought it to use with Skype, but the sound quality is so good that I am also using it to listen to music on my PC. The only slight problem is that I can't hear my own voice very well while talking on Skype, because the noise-cancelling properties are so good! The ear phones are comfortable, the mic unobtrusive and the lead nice and long. There is also a handy volume control button on the lead. I would definitely recommend this item.

Ho comprato queste cuffie perchè mi servivano per giocare al pc e anche per parlare su Skype e Teamspeak. Le cuffie sono arrivate in 2 giorni, 1 giorno prima del previsto. Mi sono arrivate con GLS. Le cuffie sono bellissime esteticamente, sono di plastica e leggere ma risultano molto resistenti. I padiglioni sono fantastici, veramente morbidi e ricoprono tutto l'orecchio ( a meno che non siate un elfo). Il microfono è veramente ottimo. Infatti non cattura i rumori esterni, ed è fatto di gomma ed e piegevole. 20€ spesi benissimo. Le consiglio!

Had been struggling for a proper headset with mic... tried a few and some were too heavy/bulky and some didnt work well for a mic. Have been using it for a few months and no complaints at all I use it for 4 hours every weekday

商品自体は問題ないどころか、三千円にしては良いヘッドセットです。 しかし何故かここの商品は開封された形跡がありました。 中のテープが破れていました。 普通の店なら間違いなく売り物にはなりません。 まさか中古品ではと疑いました。 他の店で購入される事をオススメします。
