Wonderful
I've had the larger olfa rotary cutter for years and love it however it's not so great at smaller more intricate cuts so thought I'd try out this one. It's smaller size handle makes it so nice to hold, easier to wield and cuts wonderfully. I find myself reaching for this far more than my old larger rotary cutter now. Great value for money.

Great little cutter for those intricate projects that a large one is too big for
I originally purchased the larger variant of this cutter and found that I needed a slightly smaller blade for more smaller details that the larger blade was a little too large for. I purchased this rotary cutter for use with paper stencils and fabrics and it has been a great piece of kit.The blades are nice and strong so don't flex when applying pressure to them and therefore dont stray off line when cutting. The blade turns freely with a small amount of friction which is nice as it prevents accidental slips. The retractable blade guard is simple yet effective, you slide it back to use the blade and push it forward to cover the blade edges from being exposed. There are "grip strips" on either edge of the handle near the blade to rest your finger or thumb on when cutting giving you more control of the cutter and how much pressure you apply. The blades are very simple to change and not expensive either.A very good cutter and excellent value for money.

Quality blades and they last for ages
I've really taken to cutting out fabric with mats and cutters. I used to cut out on the floor but using a lot of silk and jersey these days (and with 2 chihuahuas taking over) that's not possible any more. Cutting out on my foldable tables (doubled up) has made it so much easier with a better result on the fabric and also my back. I bought Olfa blades and mats as these are the ones everyone seems to recommend and I havent been disappointed. I am not throwing away the old blades as I'll be able to cut out paper for wrapping Christmas presents - I find scissors leave a very jagged edge.

Fantastic product
I used this product to cut roller blinds after I had new windows installed. This made the job so quick and easy lovely clean straight cut when using a rule alongside. I had to trim the bottom bar and material with a Stanley. It just frayed the material in a small section which I sorted with PVA. Cannot imagine cutting them with a Stanley or scissors. Can’t recommend enough, glad I got the bigger blade aswell as it gave me depth when running against the metre rule.

Such good value
I know a `blade is just a blade', but these blades are amazing value for money, I just had to snap them up.Next day delivery and Amazon kept me informed of delivery times etc. Only snag was having someone in to receive the parcel, as it was stated it had to be signed for. Therefore I felt very let down when the parcel was just put through my letterbox, and I wasn`t asked to sign for it after all, they had not rung the bell, as they were in such a hurry to go. Not the fault of Amazon, but of the delivery firm they used, perhaps that will be something to look into?.

Fantastic tool
I am doing an EPP and am new to patchwork. Previously had one with a larger wheel. This enables me to cut without wasting as much cloth. Just wish I had known when I started!

Done the job

Cable lay.
No recessed channel for the cable to sit, no knock outs. Have to make your own, easy to hang though.
