I loved this product because of how easy and clean the bulb is. Never used ceramic bulbs before but I love them. They get VERY hot. Much more hot then a regular heat bulb so be very careful when moving it. Only downside is they admit no light, so you will need another bulb to light your enclosure. My UVB bulb is perfect and I don’t need anything else. I also found I can put this bulb in any heat lamp. Other bulbs with high watts will blow if I accidently put it in the wrong lamp or turn on my lamp. (User error, I know) but this one really works with any lamp I have. Great product and last a very long time

Love ceramic bulbs for my reptiles. This two pack is much cheaper than going to a pet store and getting a one pack. They last just as long and work great.

Does not put out any light - I missed that when I bought them. Burnt out rather quickly it seemed- but did keep tank warm!

I bought these bugs for my reptile enclosure 4 YEARS ago, 1 is on constant 24/7 the other is on a thermostat, after 4 YEARS the thermostat controlled bulb finally burned out, the other is STILL GOING STRONG. Obviously I will be replacing both, but I am truly surprised by how long these have lasted.

These bulbs are a great price, but like many heat bulbs they aren't the most reliable. I like that they come in a two pack so if you have an issue with one, hopefully the other one will work. I used one bulb for maybe a few months and then it started to produce a burning smell, so I switched it out for the second one in the pack. This one I've been using for a few months now as well, and the main issue I've had with it is that it seems to turn off very occasionally and just stop producing heat until I turn the fixture off and back on. This has happened probably twice so far, so it's not a regular occurrence. I have it in a ceramic fixture with a dimmer that is plugged into a thermostat. When it is producing heat, it works really well in my 20 gallon long to bring temperatures up to the mid-80s, which is what I'm aiming for.

These ceramic heat bulbs came intact, no cracks, no weird metal threads, nothing broken in shipping. They went right out into the coops today! It's been dipping well below freezing this week, it was 27 outside this morning. Just wanted to keep the edge off in two small chicken coops, one is 5'x5' wood siding and the other is 3.5'x7' half of a 7'x7' resin shed. Since several birds are molting, they need a weenzy bit of help keeping warm, and help keeping the humidity level down too. They only took a few minutes to come up to temp and I can feel the heat radiate about 18-20" away. I only bought the 75W ones since only gentle heat that could be directed at their roost was needed, both are on a thermal switch for safety. So far today, they have warmed (at roosting level) ~2 degrees above the outside ambient temp. We'll see how well they do later tonight when the temp drops! If there is a lengthy cold snap, I will consider bumping up to the 100W, but I just want to keep it safe & warmer for the girls even though they are hardy breeds and should do well in the cold. I like that these heat emitters don't put out any light, the girls need a rest before the laying season starts again in the spring. My hens are totally spoiled! If these bulbs fail or don't last long, I will update this review. (included a picture of one the molting hens, she looks so pathetic!)

This heat bulb works perfect for my baby birds & they stay warm all night long.The lamp heats up with a very reasonable warmth that is comfortable for the animals/birds.I’d definitely recommend & would buy again.

First off this product does the job intended for sure!It gets extremely hot!! so beware! lol, I have a scar to prove it!The clamp is very versatile and adjusts well into any position.I thought the price is fair.

one bulb didn't work at all, the second lasted 2 weeks.ordered again, so far its lasted over a month, good consistent heat.

Absolutely perfect product, worked exactly how I wanted to. I bought the 75w to keep my rabbit hutch warm in the winter months and it works amazing, it’s been -15 and it was +18 in the rabbit hutch, the hutch is only 29 inches by 29 inches square with an open hole for the door and it doesn’t get to warm, great product!!
