12W Daylight Dusk to Dawn LED Sensor Bulb (2 Pack) - Automatic Turn on and off - 100w Equivalent Photocell Light Sensor Bulb for Porch Garage Outdoor Security Post Lighting

The local utility company had a “give away” on LED bulbs when a service person came to your house. They would swap out 5 of your incandescent bulbs for 5 LED bulbs. He put a dimmer attachment on the front porch LED light. It would never shutoff. Bought this bulb to replace the one on the porch. What an improvement. Shuts off at dawn and lights up at dusk. Excellent coverage with the light dispersion.EDIT #1: Purchase two bulbs in March of 2018. Both bulbs are dead. The last one went out on 12.23.18. Not very good for two to die in less than 9 months. Keep you $$$. Junk. Starts reduced to 1 stars. Not worth $20 for that amount of life between 2 bulbs.

I kept having problems with the wife & kid not turning off the front porch light in the AM... i would come up in the afternoon to see the light on and for no reason.Now we just set the switch to on and let the bulb do the rest. Which is really nice now that I have installed a front of the house security camera. At night the light from the bulb provides enough exposure to make out great detail to anyone within 5 feet of the house. ( i leave the camera on day mode all day as I dont like the look of "night vision").

Bright, daylight white and worked flawlessly on an outdoor fixture above my garage until 2 days ago. Lasted ~7 months after installation. Note: I tried the bulb in two other fixtures that had working bulbs in them, turned out the lights (so the sensor would turn on the bulb) and the light did not work. Darn. Was ~$14 for one bulb and now its ~$20 for 2 bulbs. Maybe the 2 year warranty (I read about in the reviews) will really work out?

The 12 watt LED dusk to dawn bulbs are an improvement of the 7 watt version that I purchased many months ago. I was very happy with them and even more pleased with the brighter version. The LED is a cool white which is my preference. These bulbs seriously light up my driveway. They are installed in fixtures on either side of my garage door. I have also found customer support to be fanfastic.

I always forget to turn on & off my lights outside. I know LED doesn’t use much electricity but, I still like to thin things off. The work well and I have 2 in sockets about 6 feet apart. They work fine and don’t cause each other to shut off. If you want a bright white light in the night this is right!

Put these in the two lights on the garage so I could have lights on when it got dark out and wouldn't need to flip the switch on all the time. They work well and come on when I would want them to. Seems to be bright enough as well for the application I wanted. Makes the back of my condo less dark at night, which is what I was wanting to enhance security.

Excellent bulbs! No more trying to get the sensor in the right direction with the bulbs I had before. Easy to install. Very nice light.

Awesome product. We use them inside and out. We chose this product to replace a light that went out. Very happy with the purchase.
