This is plenty long enough to wear over the ears. In fact it’s too long to not wear it that way in my opinion.

Mine was not shipped in a box. It was in a thin gray plastic mailer. Not a bubble mailer.

Would it fit a size 8?

They should, they’re snap backs. They can adjust to a lot of sizes.
