Whole Lobe of Duck Foie Gras, Grade A - Flash-Frozen - 1.8 lbs (avg weight)

I've bought this twice in two years for the holiday in order to make Foie gras torchon and to sear it.Both times it has arrived well packed and cold. I live in PNW so heat is not much of an influence in the packaging.It is not devained so expect to spend some time doing this is you want to maintain the lobes intact. It is not an easy task for a novice without destroying the lobes.Great taste great quality. the weight was just under 1.8lbs but at the price it is still a better deal than the other options on Amazon.

Shipped and arrived quickly. Only took two days to arrive instead of the suggested 2 weeks. I really enjoyed this foie gras and would buy it again when I finish my current order.

The product itself is not bad, but weight was off.

Foie gras is a very cruel inhumane product, it is the diseased liver of a duck or goose. Of course, it is also terrible for human health. There are petitions going around all over the US to ban this product. It is currently banned in California, NYC, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and many countries all over the world. Ducks and geese were violently over fed and went through extreme suffering to make this product. This product should not be available on Amazon!

We had this sent to our French friends who also live in Virginia for our Thanksgiving gathering. There was only the four us, so we lived a decant holiday with our evening delicacy of Fois Gras with homemade sauces as our appetizer each night.This will be a holiday tradition!Thank you
