Is the bosch gho 12v planer supplied with a 1/2 size l-boxx tray?

At present you are only able to purchase a kit for the GHO 12V-20 which comes with an L-Boxx 136 which is our mid-size L-Boxx or as a bare tool in which case it is just the machine in a cardboard box. Will this work with other batteries, or (like the sander) does it lock you out if not Bosch?

It will work with generic batteries. I have found Creabest to be very good alternatives. You need to search for BAT411. But a word of warning. Although I have never had any problems at all with my 12V Bosch tools. I did use a replacement battery in 18V drill (it was not Creabest brand) and the drill developed a fault. Bosch claimed it was the battery that caused it. They replaced the tool under warranty but warned me not to use cheap batteries again. Since then I have stuck to Creabest which are half the price of Bosch.
