Great cord, even cuts through nettle and dock stems

This real was very strong and lasts a long time if you are happy to pay a little extra.Many other reels have the circular bore but this star reel seemed more effective for me.Caution: if you are using this with a battery powered strimmer, ensure you have the prescribed diameter reel for your strimmer. found that larger diameter reels would fit, but they can drain the battery quicker.

It does its job. I am very satisfied.

Having read the reviews for this strimmer line - some very good and few really bad, as Oregon is usually a good brand I thought I'd risk it. This line far and away surpassed the blue line I was using before. it appears to be rated for grass only but using my cheap little McGregor electric strimmer it literally destroyed everything I pointed it at...grass, mixed weeds, nettles - even some small shrubby growth. Because there is a lot of stones in the area i cut back today, previously I would have used most of a spool of line - but with this line I used up just 30cm! If I had to pick one thing to criticise , it is that it's quite springy making it harder to wind onto the spool - but given that I'll be doing this much less often I can live with that. I will buy this line again...just not very often :-)

My strimmer head needs 2.4mm or greater to clamp onto wire, this is less than 2mm even tho it’s meant to be 2.4mm as described.Had to order the 3mm in the end. This stuff is great on grass, heavy shrubs and it wears quickly. Over all good stuff

Bonjour,Ce fil s'use plus vite que le fil basique fourni avec mon coupe bordures Parkside.Déçu !J'utilise du fil Oregon sur ma débroussailleuse, il est nettement plus performant.J'ai cru que j'allais retrouver la même qualité, eh bien, non, pas du tout...

Acheté pour une toute petite débrousailleuse stihl FS38 (c'est tellement petit que ça s'appelle un coupe-bordure). Le montage est facile et la résistance du fil sur de l'herbe est imbattable. En dix ans de pratique, je n'ai pas trouvé mieux que ce fil. C'est maintenant celui que j'utilise systématiquement pour de l'herbe. Il est tout simplement plus robuste que les alternatives.Sur du béton par contre (pour enlever les mauvaises herbes) sa résistance est très limitée mais c'est normal. Il trouvera sa limite sur des ronces, mais c'est aussi normal car il n'est pas vraiment conçu pour!Conclusion c'est le meilleur fil de coupe à ma connaissance tant que vous n'avez que de l'herbe à couper. J'en suis entièrement satisfait et vous le recommande sans la moindre réserve!
