I liked these but...
I read mixed guidelines and opinions about whether these were microwavable. Some bamboo dishes are labeled microwavable, these were not. I still don't have a clear answer. Aesthetically, these looked nice. And while I don't really use the microwave often...some people in my family inevitably would have put one of these in the microwave. I decided to return these, but they might be nice for a picnic or a person who doesn't have a microwave in their home.

These look good with my red/white/black dinner service.
The bowls that came with my dinnerware are okay...if you want them for soup or cereal. We like having pasta bowls, and only have 4 white ones left from our previous tableware. Voila! Black works just as well, so this is an excellent alternative.
