These coffee filters are great quality for the price, the 53mm size fits my Sage Express Impress basket very well and I like that they stop any coffee residue back flushing into the system. You may have to adjust your grind size when using a paper filter (there seems to be more resistance when using) so do weigh your shots to make sure you're getting your desired extraction. I will continue to order and use.

I bought this as it was advertised as specifically fitting Breville/Sage’s Barista machines. I have a Barista Express with 54mm portafilter. The paper leafs are supposed to be 53mm in width but actually seem to be 54.5mm as shown in my picture.As such it does not fit the Barista 54mm portafilter.Having said that, my wife recommended a baker’s trick of scrunching it up before opening and placing in the portafilter. It does work and I can definitely tell that the excess grounds are not coming through to my espresso leading to a much smoother and bitter-free coffee.I just wish they were the right size as advertised!

Too large for the Sage Portafilters (even though the product title/page says it's compatible). If you spend time cutting them into a smaller shape, it kind of works and you get smoother coffee but the grinds collect around the circumference of the portafilter due to the imperfect cut.
