Zinel 4684 Die Cast Aluminium Non Stick Induction Base Crepe Pan - 24cm , Black

I love this crepe pan. It makes it so easy to make very thin crepes. My husband trained as a chef and has insisted on using cast iron pans for years which are so heavy to lift! I could never make a proper pancake on them. This is so much better and it feels very sturdy without being too heavy. Very easy to control the heat distribution (using gas). Handle looks like its secured on well there's screws underneath the hard plastic. Very easy to clean too. Would definitely recommend. Only used once so cannot really comment on durability but feels well made .

I would have loved to give this five stars and more. It is almost perfect. And in almost every aspect it is the perfect pancake maker. It is just heavy enough. Nonstick works wonderfully. The handle is attached in a way that the batter cannot stick to rivets, because there are no rivets near the main part. The only problem is that - being aluminium - for it to work on induction it has a steel base - and it must have just too little steel in it, because my cooker keeps losing connection with it. If it was not a pancake maker, it would not matter that much - you adjust the position of the pan until the cooker can sense it. However, if you make pancakes you need to keep lifting the pan and putting down. It is a pain that the cooker cannot sense it all the time and need to keep adjusting it.It may be that it is not a problem with all induction cookers though.***Update 04/04/2017***I've been using these for a while now, and I like them more and more (I bought two). I have found that if I keep the hob on maximum power, then there is less problem with the hob not sensing the pans. The problem is still there, but because I keep the hob on full power and the connection is still on and off, these two together mean that the pan stays just hot enough for making the pancakes, but not too hot.

Despite not being a brand of pan I am familiar with, I am pleased with its performance. The heat distrbution. is good and the crepe pan is easy to clean whilst in use. A good value pan.

Overall a good one. Just little bit unhappy with the size as even the small one is not bigger for the stove in my hood but quality and performance is up to the mark.The best thing is the heat distribution. You can even put things in the corner to utilise the space.

Great pan. The heat is distributed evenly throughout the pan, it does not stick, it is easy to spread the dough on the surface, cooks pancakes perfectly and quickly, It doesn't dry them out like other pans I've tried before I found this one. Very happy with this purchase.

Second one of these pans that we've brought. Great for cooking the wife's flat breads in.

Looks a nice pancake pan, robust and quite heavy but not what I ordered !! Came next day as expected with prime. Handle not as in picture called zinel designa but will keep as needed for my pancakes in 3 days!!

Todo un descubrimiento para hacer crepes ricas y cómodamente. Para que no cueste darles la vuelta, colocar la sarten en el fuego mayor para que se caliente por toda la superficie por igual.

Die gelieferte Pfanne unterschiedet sich vom Bild etwas, die Ausnehmung beim Griff ist nicht vorhanden, also "klassische" Optik, stört nicht weiter.Positiv:gute Wärmeverteilung! Obwohl die Spule in meiner Induktionsplatte etwas klein geraten ist, wird doch die ganze Fläche aufgeheizt.Negativ:für eine neue Pfanne is die Beschichtung nicht besonders "Anthaft". Meine deutlich über 10 Jahre alte (Marken) Pfanne, im Geschirrspüler malträtiert hat ähnliche Antihafteigenschaften. D.h. durch reines "Ruckeln" der Pfanne, ist der Pfannkcuhen (Palatschinke) nicht zum Lösen zu bewegen, mit einem Pfannenwender drunter klappt aber problemlos.Nebenbei: die Pfanne kommt nicht aus Europa sondern aus GB !

We just got the pan today and tried it out in the evening with gluten free crepes and they came out wonderful. We were able to keep the crepes thin, they cooked all the way through, didn't stick to the pan, didn't burn, were easy to flip and taste delicious. I was fully prepared for a flop but I'm happily proven wrong. This was worth the wait for sure. Cheers

Die Pfanne funktioniert gut auf meinem neuen Induktionsherd. Könnte aber etwas heißer werden; die Pfannekuchen bleiben ziemlich hell.
