Twilight Creations 2011TLC Zombies 3rd Edition

This is probably one of the best board games I have ever played, It is such a dynamic game which is completely different every time you play it. It lasts from around 45 minutes to 2 hours depending how many players there are and how dedicated the players are.It can be complicated and over whelming to some people for the first 15-30 minutes of game play which as a result could put some people off but if you can get those people to fight through the "pain" then their efforts will be graciously rewarded with back stabbing the player next to you and destroying somebodies hope of completing the game as you teleport them back to the "centre of town" tile.It has a lot of components to the game such as map tiles, heart tokens, bullet tokens, zombies, characters and event cards and there are a lot of rules to try and remember so it always helps if you play with atleast one "know it all" and everybody else who is new to it to slowly ease them in, if there is a new member dont be horrible and completely ruin their game but if somebody grasps it then they are fair game but the game is extremely easy to understand and follow and its fantastic fun.I would say the game isn't perfect, for example some of the event cards you can only use in the "Toy Store" but because the game is so random when your placing the map tiles the "Toy store" map tile may not be played until the very end or at the opposite end of the board therefore making that specific event card pretty useless and to be honest I haven't had much luck with using specific event cards in specific places but on the flip side to that, there are some event cards that are absolutely brilliant in there mechanics and how they can ruin somebody's game. As i mentioned at the start I teleported my brother back to the "Centre of Town" map tile and ruined his master plan which resulted him in sulking for the rest of the game but I did tell everybody before hand this game must be played as in "survival of the fittest-I have no friends and everybody else around me are going to get it",I always go easy on the new players so it makes their first time enjoyable but once there eased in then the gloves are off.Even if your girlfriend, boyfriend, husband or wife is playing im sorry there are no prisoners in this game and what happens in Zombies!! stays in Zombies!!. No domestic arguments afterwards at 2100 which happened to my brother and his partner ^_^.So far I have played this game 6 times and I have never won it and every time I have been near enough the loser with the least zombies kills or been the complete opposite end of the map but I have not ever been the biggest sore loser, I have had so much funny ruining other peoples game for last place to bother me. I have also had horrible luck with my dice rolling as my friends and family always seem to roll sixes when fighting zombies.As the map tiles get placed this board game becomes big very quickly and if you dont have adequate space your board game will be balancing on the edge of a table or zombies getting repeatedly knocked over as people roll the dice across the board to try to fight for room.I can say I will be buying the expansions to this board game to enhance the fun further it really is a great game to play and given that everybody loves the walking dead its a great way for people to feel like Rick grimes as they assault the zombie horde.DOWN SIDE - Why are the Bag O Zombies selling for £40 when you can buy the board game for £16 and you get 100 zombies in there??

Great fun, easy to learn and beautifully presented. Ideal for 2 players or more.

This really is a great little board game, I mean the box is little but the game can take up a lot of table space and time and has a lot of replay value as no two maps will ever be the same. Its easy to learn and to teach others to play and within 15 minutes a total newbie will be laughing like an evil loon as they spawn 10 zombies next to their least favourite player after drawing the coveted "totally screwed" card. The components are pretty good quality, the miniatures aren't really up there with Games Workshop or Mantic Games but you do get 106 of them which is enough for a serious horde battle. The artwork is nice and it really feels like a lot of B Movie love went into this game. If you're a keen gamer or a fan of The Walking Dead or Dead Rising then this is certainly worth a go.

Love this game - me and my 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter have a game every Sunday - they love it!The miniatures are very well produced, the game tiles are good quality.You may have to come up with a few 'house' rules as the rules have a few grey areas, but that's part of the fun!You can make this game as in depth as you like, or just keep it simple.Really easy to explain and get to grips with but - would recommend for introducing tabletop gaming to beginners.

Brilliantly good fun. Takes about 5 minutes to learn the rules. Can play competitive or just for fun. Up to 6players

Great game - easy to play and very entertaining. Bought it as a gift for my husband and we both love it.

exited when it arrived as i have played it before and it is a fun easy to learn game unfortunatly even tho i bought this brand new it looks like the box has been used as a football as its dented and all the tokens inside have fallen out i could get used to this and be okey with it as u dont need the box to play the game however i am struggeling as im not sure if i shoudl accept it with the box in such a poor conditon. i may have to return it.

Just an overall fun experience, would recommend if you're looking for something unique and a bit different.
