Very fun and great for remote playing with others
This game is great for playing with friends and family remotely. It can be played with everyone together in one room as well, but so can a million different trivia games. What makes this unique is the ability to let others join the game and play with you remotely. They do NOT need to have their own version of the game. A code pops up for you to give to them and they can play via a free app on their phone or tablet. We have family all in various locations and have had so much fun playing this together with them. Basics of the game: It is very similar to trivial pursuit in concept. You move around the board answering trivia questions based on the categories you choose. We got the Ultimate Edition because it came with more categories, but you can actually buy a new category for $3.49 (at the time of writing this) in their online store. We also already won a free one from a "Golden Question" they asked at the end of our game. Variety and Choices: In Trivial Pursuit you have to complete all categories to get to the final challenge. In this game, you can choose to complete two categories (called rings) or four or six. You choose when you set it up. You can choose how it is handled in terms of timing attempts, bonus play, turning on assists like in 50/50, skip the question, and extra time. You can turn these things on or off and control how many assists are given to each team. It also allows you to select the age group (child, teen, and adult) of a player to make the questions fit their age range better. Electronic device not optional: When you see the pictures of the game, you see the board and player pieces, and dice. That sort of implies you can play without using an electronic device like a phone or tablet. You cannot. The questions come from the device. You can do all the rolling and moving around the board on the pieces in the box or using the app, but you can only do the questions and submit answers on the device using the game app (which is free). You only need one device to play it and you can easily mirror your device to a TV for better group viewing though. I got this game to play remotely with people so this feature didn't bother me, but it might bother others. If you are looking for a traditional sit around a board and read questions and answer trivia game, this is not that. The good part is that the questions are very up-to-date and you can add new question packs over time since it is app based. Final Thoughts: Very much recommend for playing remotely with others. Also recommend for everyone in a room together as long as you understand you will need to use a tablet or phone to do the questions and submitting answers. Would not recommend if you are looking for a traditional sit around the table trivia game.

Outsmarted: Fun, Current, and Perfect for Family Game Nights
Our family has had such a great time playing Outsmarted! Itâs become one of our go-to games for family nights, and itâs been a fun way to bond with our teenagers. We really like that we can play on our devices and then mirror the game to the TV so everyone can easily follow along. The questions are awesomeâup-to-date and even tied to current events (we saw questions from just last week!). Thereâs also a wide variety of topics, so it feels fun and challenging without needing to buy extra packs. One of our favorite features is the ability to build up assists. It adds a whole new layer of strategy and competition, which makes the game even more exciting. Overall, Outsmarted has been a huge hit in our houseâwe canât recommend it enough!

Played outsmarted last night
This game is brilliant, so much fun. Great questions and you have the option to buy more categories that interest you or your game players. I bought more like Animal kingdom and Disney classics etc.. you can play the game sitting at a table with the board or you can link the game through your phone to your smart TV. Everyone joins with their phone viva a code given after you pick you question categories. 1- 24 players and you can play in teams. Have fun.. we didđ

Good game
Played for the first time on NYE. It was fun and I would definitely recommend. My only issue is I definitely felt that maybe the game updated too frequently. I get that it makes sense for the news category but we were getting questions about 2025 songs in 2025! Just didn't feel like trivia at times. Another complaint is that you only get 1 registered device so be sure to install it on whatever device you will be playing it on the most And ideally one that stays in the house.

Great family game
This is a great trivia game for all ages! My grandsons are almost 5 years apart so itâs great that the questions can be chosen according to their age. Each player can use their own tablet or phone and it is a lot of fun. The variety of categories covers a lot of interests and you can purchase additional categories.

Fun and well worth the money!
This is exactly what I wanted and expected. Anyone who says the questions are all U.K. or that the board and game pieces aren't used is NOT understanding the game play. Yes, you can play without the game board IF you choose the fully digital mode, but you can also play manually (rolling dice, moving pieces, and playing with the game board) - my fave!, using the app for questions only. This is a great game that combines technology and trivia to make an experience the whole family can enjoy. I've already played several times and have bought the additional question game packs for even more fun in categories I'm excited to play. If you're on the fence like I was due to 1-star reviews, ignore them and just buy the game. You won't regret it!

Amazing Trivia Game
This game is so fun. You can play with two people or a large group. You move around the board similar to other trivia games but the questions are asked and answered on a tablet with the app. They update the categories often and you can purchase new ones in the app for just a couple of bucks. There is a Current Events category that will have questions from the prior week. This is one of the most fun games we own. Highly recommend to buy.

Family Game Night, Upgraded
We tried the Outsmarted game and it was such a hit. I love that it connects to your TV and everyone plays from their own phone, so it feels like youâre on a real game show. The questions adjust for kids and adults, which makes it perfect for family nights or having friends over. Itâs fun, interactive, and honestly one of the most unique board games we own! The questions also are constantly updating with current event which I find so cool!

Outsmarted has completely changed our family game nights! We've tried countless trivia games over the years, and none have come close to this one. The ability for players of different ages and knowledge levels to compete on a level playing field is genius. It's so easy to set upâjust download the app and you're good to go. The questions are fantastic, covering a huge range of topics, and the addition of picture and video rounds makes it so much more fun than a standard board game. Plus, the ongoing updates with new questions and special rounds mean it never gets old. If you're looking for a game that will get everyone laughing, shouting, and thinking, look no further. This is an absolute must-have for anyone who loves trivia or wants a fun way to bring people together. A perfect 5/5 âââââ

I found the features of this game to be innovative and clever. The remote playing feature is a literal game-changer (pun intended), which allows other players to join in on their own devices. Other clever features include the one that enables players to adjust the difficulty by selecting their age range (Kid, Teen, Adult) so they get questions that they can answer, one which the player can control the duration of the game, as well as questions that update automatically. The multimedia enhances the fun. Outsmarted is the new trivia game for today's age, perfect fun for players, young and old!

Outsmarted is a fantastic game! We donât tend to use the board and instead play it on the iPad and TV, which works really well and keeps everything simple. We had lots of fun over Christmas playing with our teenage children and elderly parents. Itâs great how the game suits all ages. The mix of questions and challenges keeps everyone involved and competitive without being too complicated. You can also choose the speed if the game! Highly recommend for family get-togethers. Great fun and plenty of laughs.
