Stewpan is totally stable no rocking, wobbleing or spinnig its flat as a river rock. Rims are clean, uniform and free of sharp edges (no burrs). Has straight unflaired rims ( I like flaired rims better but these are really well machined).I hated to return this set but the skillet, saucepan and the chef pan had long elegant handles with sharp edges that was hard to handle when full of water. Most reviews complained about the brass handles getting too hot and they have a ridge that turns up on the right side that cuts into your hand. Handles look uninformed compared to rest of the vessels. Also the saucepan led came with a dent in it.
