Good Except Flat Seam is a Little Thick
This balaclava is made of a nice, lightweight material that feels fairly soft against the skin. It's comfortable to wear and the face opening is just the right size to pull the material below your lips if you don't need your mouth covered. My only negative is that the single flat seam that runs down the middle of the balaclava is a little thick. I have another lightweight balaclava as well as a light beanie that I wear under a ski helmet when needed, and the seams on those are a little less prominent. It's not a lot, but I can feel the pressure from the seam when I wear this balaclava with my helmet while I don't notice it with the other items I mentioned.

The was very thin and the mask did not strech enough!

A Bit Tight
I wore this mask recently for a trip to Yellowstone this winter. It was -14*(f) and this mask helped take off the bitter snap from being exposed to the elements. The fabric is thin and lightweight. It easily covered my head and neck without exposing my neck under a hoodie. It was comfortable to wear. The material is non-stretchy, including the sewed area for the face. So wearing it any way beside as a full mask was a bit of a challenge. It was a struggle to wear it like a neckgator, or with the nose portion pulled down. The fabric/hole just wasn't big enough. I ended up no wearing it frequently because of its inflexiblity. As with all Balaclavas, if you wear glasses and have the nose covered, you'll fog up. The nose will need to be exposed to prevent this.

Simple mask
These balaclavas are definitely middle of the line. Not super nice but not super cheap. They work well for what their intended purpose is, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for. Under 20 dollars and you get three of them, so dont expect super thick cloth that keeps you warm in very cold temperatures, they are thin material (which is fine in the application I'm using it for) and fit well inside a helmet because of it.

Lightweight, thin, and breathable
These masks are perfect for me as I dislike the thicker masks that just end up making me sweat under my other gear or helmet. These are thin, lightweight, and breathable so you can be covered and protected from the wind or sun and yet stay cool. The quality appears to be decent for the price and the material is soft and comfortable against my skin.It performs as I need it to and you get three for a relatively inexpensive price.

I wish I bought more, and way back in the past
I'm prior military, and also been stationed in Alaska and Afghanistan. I've been outside in Colorado as well, riding a motorcycle in 30 degree weather. So I have significant time outside in cold weather, and wearing balaclava. This balaclava is way more comfortable than two name brands I've recently bought for way more. The cloth is very soft and isn't abrasive against the skin. At 5' 10" 200 pounds, medium build, the size extends easily into your jacket (or hoodie) and won't pull out the first time you turn your head. You could comfortably wear this with a helmet (motorcycle, or tactical) over it since it doesn't bunch up to cause pressure points.

Pretty good for outdoor weather use
If you live in a state where there is snow and ice for a good part of the year and wish to be or have to be outside and being active these are a great base for warming your face and thin enough so if it’s not to frigid you can use them for everyday winter use as well. Overall not a bad product in a winter state for daily use. They are also washable and breathable fabric so they can be reused again and again.
